Sounds like the guys have roosted and are into a normal routine. Then the cliffhanger.

The honeymoon stop at the Wolf was great. I think it important that Dean and Jessup were able to talk about their sexuality and mates. Both Bridgett and Jessup told a lot of funny stories about Zeke. The ceremony for the new Betas was simple, but moving.

The boys are now complete after they have mated. Alice now has a dad. The world is just as it should be. Wonderful chapter.

A very good chapter that foreshadows the power of tag team Betas. It was nice to see Alan in action.

More fun with Goldie and Alice. Dean made a great impact on the Pack his first day on the job as a temporary Beta. He has all the ability, and now some on the job training. I loved that fact that he got a smile and a knuckle bump from Sarge as a reward.

Victoria, Kao and Dean are so much more than accepting and adult about this situation. They care for each other and understand that by setting up just one boundary, that their friendship and trust will grow. The time Dean and Kao spent together just reinforces that feeling that Dean and Kao are true mates for life. I liked the added dimension of seeing Kao thru the eyes of Alice. I wonder who Alice's father is? Jon, Patrick or someone else. At first, it seemed that the mating was to be after Victoria was told, and I felt that delaying it was a bad sign. Then I remembered how Jon and Patrick spent most of their time after they first mated. I realized that Kao would probably not graduate if he spent most of his time in a perpetual state of horny distraction thinking about Dean instead of his studies.

Victoria is a very nice lady with a lot of love and understanding in her heart. She is also very observant and smart to see that Kao and Dean are meant for each other. What did surprise me was her very calm acceptance of them both being Lycans. It didn't phase her at all. Maybe she suspected there are such beings as Lycan, since she is surrounded by them daily in her job. I think Goldie will probably find out how Victoria reacted, then let Victoria know about herself, the Lycan community and the Lycans in the company. Victoria must have some instinctive knowledge of things, since she recommended Blue Water as the place to eat.

I was happy with the outcome of the trial, but even more that Kao's father showed respect to both Dean and Kao. I hope Kai's punishment will keep him out of the lives of the Homestead Pack forever. The Hunter sent by Angus was true to form for the East Coast Pack and Angus. At one point in the trial he should have been cited for contempt of court, but that's a bit irrelevant now. I hope that Kao will be as good in bed with Dean as Dean describe Victoria to be. Actually, I hope the sex is even better. I do feel sorry for Victoria a bit, but she had her chance and refused marriage to Dean. Maybe sometime later, she can be a surrogate for Dean and Kao' children.

The trial scene was very well written and felt authentic. Kai's anger was palpable. What was a surprise was Dean's challenge to Kao's father. However, his explanation of his action to Kao and the rest demonstrated a very analytical mind that put the pieces together in a very logical picture of the Wind Master, his state of mind and his ignorance of what had been happening to his sons. I love this chapter!

I am with you 100% on this. I also apply it to desserts and ice cream. (It also cuts down on the calories because I can only afford the good stuff once in a while.)

This is just another very good reason for @kbois to sleep in on Saturdays and post later! The west coast readers are at such a disadvantage. 🤔

Dean has made his decision and Victoria is not his choice. Kao is definitely his mate according to Alpha Kirkland. I suspect the other Alphas are in agreement with her. Now they face the trial. I hope Kao is not harmed.

Well Dean's back home and under the protection of Alpha Kirkland. I wonder when Kai will show up. Victoria must be something other than a human. Her position on marrying Dean seems a bit more like an avoidance tactic. Together with the fact she smell sour to Dean make me suspicious of her. Great chapter. I am loving this story.

Dean's first turn was a shock to his system, but he was fortunate that Kao called to check on him. Dean actually took it a lot better than I expected. He was smart to listen to Kao and call Jon. Jon in turn was smart enough to send Dylan. After the punch, Dean cooled down and seemed to be very reasonable. The discussion of possible charges and punishment for Kai set Dean off again. I was pleased that he protected Kao by claiming the infection was willing made. Then Kai and Kao showed up. I was worried for Kao, but Jon and the rest made sure that Kai couldn't do anything. Kai was stupid to insult Jon, Patrick, Zeke, and Quint. It was great that Kao stood up to his brother and the rest made sure Kai left quickly. I think both Kao and Dean will find a great deal to love in their new home.

So the scrap to the hand has lead to Dean being infected. I wonder if the eyes looking at him are some of Dylan's crew. Dylan was in the hospital room when Dean said he had to get a doctor to take care of the scrap. I wonder who will find him. What species will Dean be?

Quint is looking for peace and quiet after fighting in a war and being abused by the lover who turned him into a Lycan. He heads home to Montana to find the peace and calm that has elluded his adult life so far. His broken spirits slowly heal as he makes friends along the way who help and support him. Running from an abusive lover is not easy. This is an action packed adventure with excellent characters and plot. A fun story to read.

The epilogue is a soft landing that tied up the major loose ends. Great story!

Quint was one deadly kitten for Amos. I wished he had taken out Ashton too or left that to Colton. Quint has definitely become a very aggressive Lynx.

I am ready for the confrontation. Amos and Ashton both need to be taken down. Michael seems to be an OK guy, so why did he help them kidnap Zeke?

As usual you have made your points very clearly. The second clip was so turned down, that I was chuckling over some of the most impossible special effects. Specifically the drive thru the collapsing building that kept falling and coming out the other side higher than they went in. The last clip was definitely a fun bit of fluff. Thanks!

Another day and another training exercise that gets really screwed up. Zeke is now a prisoner of Amos. Amos has an accomplice helping him. I was glad that no one was killed. Is the accomplice helping because he wants to help, ordered to help by someone other than Amos, or is he another enthralled lycan Amos has created to take the place of Quint?

The training session was great, then bam...right into a real battle! I like the four of the guys together. They are an awesome team besides being all hot and sexy. The addition to this shifter world of "rapport" give this story an interesting new trait to consider. Also, Quint seems to have some very heightened senses that are rare and very useful. This is a well written chapter with a very fast pace that flowed well.
