Remember dreaming as a kid about living on a ranch with your own horse, and an awesome best friend? Ren, a young university student in the UK decides to follow that dream when his experience in university life fails to meet his expectations. This is a sweet tale of romance with a simple, but compelling plot. Ren and the other characters are written with love and will brighten your day in this short story of growing up and personal adventure. The story is a very uplifting and enjoyable read.

This story is a fun and frantic ride that starts with a near death experience. Alex and Carter are nearly killed by a firetruck and end up in the hospital. Alex is in a coma and Carter unconscious. The problem however is that Alex is in Carter's hunky body and Carter is in Alex's twink body. To complicate things further, Carter's best friend Aron is Alex's husband. Carter hasn't spoken to either of them for two years after a drunken homophobic rant during the wedding of Alex and Aron. Thus begins an amazing and comedic supernatural ride of thrills, spills, loops and fireworks. Laura is an accomplished writer with plots that work even with all their complexities. Her characters will entrance and bewitch you. They will wiggle their way into your heart. The story goes beyond compelling to binge worthy. Laura has one of the most evil, twisted senses of humor that will strike and leave you helplessly rolling on the ground laughing. This is one great read!

When that list gets discovered I bet it becomes a family tradition to continue to add to it. That way it will extend the 15 years to a lifetime together.

So Carter is now at the domestic bliss stage. Life is good even if only for today. He'll probably blurt out the L word soon. It may take Aron to threaten getting a place of his own to get the L word out of Carter, but I'm sure it will happen.

First known use of shaggy-dog was sometime between 1945-1950, about ten years before this movie. The movie The Shaggy Dog was definitely a shaggy-dog story. Groan all you want, it was intended.😄 Of course in the 50's and 60's there were a lot of shaggy-dog movies and TV shows. Jerry Lewis starred in many of them.

The long missing Stefan has returned just as murderous as ever. He should beware of his decisions. The black chains and switch in eye colors for Vincent may not mean what Stefan thinks it means. The trial of the corrupt vamps was over quickly and justice served due to Heather's testimony. It was fascinating to see how all the couples are changing. Stacy and Dave are both betas and moving in together. Heather is ready to turn Gwendolyn when they move in together. Tierney is more than ready to claim Morrine. It is so much like Remis to help Varis rebuild the coven after the trial. The pack and coven will make good allies in the future. Tierney's proposal to Morrine provided the best line in the chapter. ❤️

Hot sex, free of Alex (soon), and now roomies. A lot of great things in this chapter. I did like this. It suddenly reminded me of one of Carter's basic traits. He just can't handle big changes all at once. It explains why he couldn't accept Alex's marriage to Aron, and also why Carter can't say "I love you" or "boyfriends" when that is exactly what he wants. It is just too big a jump for Carter. He will make it there, but in small steps. It's just the way Carter works. I know Aron realises this as long as he has known Carter, but does he apply that knowledge to Carter and his relationship as it is now? Another fun chapter with humor, but I did notice the inner conversations Carter have with himself are less contentious and more focused on when not what or how.

Carter got a brief taste of gay nightlife. Everyone should have an Armand in their life. Decked out in his new clothes, Carter got hit on by a young guy in his late 20's in seconds after sitting in the bar. Now Aron has made his position very clear about Alex, Carter should have not problems getting past the "fuck buddies" and on to real romance and guiltless sex. I hope Simon gets what he needs, and not just what he wants in Alex.

This chapter threw a spanner in the works of my theory. Now I need to come up with another theory. Great chapter except for the idiot saying "fuck buddies". It's like he offered the world to Aron, then immediately withdrew the offer. Aron can have all the fuck buddies he wants. He doesn't need Carter for that! Carter needs to stop thinking about what he should say, and say what he wants. That's the Carter that Aron first fell in love with. That's the weird kid that Aron treasures.

Simon's rehab as a character continues, and it looks like Simon may have the hots for Carter. I did love Carter's talk to himself and got a wonderful laugh! If we weren't all suspicious of the evil intent of Alex, we would probably think Alex is just a playful loving husband to Aron, and friend to Carter. I suspect another character is going under rehab. I know how Alex talked about what Carter did while in Alex's body, but now Alex has had time to experience the results of the hugs, greater fame, less pressure, fun twitter account and most important a totally new sex life with Aron? One good way to get rid of competition with an ex boyfriend of your lover is to become said ex's good friend. I know from experience that works very well!

Why do I get the feeling that Laura is going to redeem Alex. Notice she has already started on Simon's redemption. Now Carter has to put up with Alex, live and in person. Poor Carter is being tortured by Laura.

Don't you just love dramatic entrances and exits? Carter just did both in no more than a second or two without leaving or entering the room. Fun chapter, but the fun has just begun.

This chapter is a heartbreaker. What's Carter to do? If Aron gets the real Alex back, it won't be the man Aron truly loves.

It isn't Alex that Aron is falling in love with this time, it's Carter. However, Carter is hurting because Carter thinks that he will never have Aron with Aron so much in love with his husband Alex. This story is as convoluted as an origami brain. I just loving it!

The thoughts you just put in my mind are just evil dear Doctor! 🤢

David might just be the perfect man for the real Alex still hidden in Carter's body.
