I liked the mythology lessons and find them easy to understand, since I have been fascinated by myths since I was 10 years old. I don't think the age difference between Quint and Zeke is really any problem. Lycan's live for a very long time and don't age as quickly as humans. Prime example is Gene. He's in his 70's and can still take on and beat any of the boys. I am sure Zeke doesn't see a problem with the age. Zeke is also a good fit as far a personality is concerned. Both bottoms? Probably Zeke is, however I am not so sure that Quint is a natural bottom. I think he thinks so because of Amos's physical and mental abuse.

Amos step over the line and now is on death row. I hope nothing delays the sentence when they find him. Mom going to stay with the Whitebear family give me hope that Quint's mom will see what a real family is about. Maybe she will also seek her freedom from her abusive husband as a result. Dylan gets engaged, but he and Quint are still shocking each other. What's with that? Quint and Zeke make a great couple, and I hope that they will be the romance in this story. At least they have a while to spend together by themselves to explore and get to know each other. Love this story.

Amos made his appearance, but Zeke and Tommy made sure it was a very short visit. It was long enough to convince Quint to find safety with the Homestead Pack. Jon's trip to pick up Quint and welcome him to Homestead and begins to give Quint an education in how the pack is different from others. This is a wonderful start Jon is giving Quint, and even includes a job. Quint's mother is a sweet lady and his dad is a monumental asshole. Quint's stalker, the creepy sexy hunk, had me laughing when Quint stopped at the refuge to get Jon's help. “Your stalker...is he walking up the road now?” Poor Dylan is not going to hear the last of this for quite a while. It was nice to hear Jon offer protection and support for Quint and his family. What was that shock that had the Alphas concerned? Quint seems to find Dylan a little more that sexy. I wonder if they will become a couple.

Essell has finally realized what he, Garjah and Ases are confronting. The Kardoval is an entrenched power that cannot face change and evolve. I hope that means that Garjah is safe, because the Kardoval cannot fathom destroying one of their own. I hope that the group can make it quickly to safety and then rally to rescues Garjah.

Damned if you didn't get me ROFL @scrubber6620. At first I thought you were going to give one of your very insightful observations as usual. Great punch line saying, "Not enough sex and drama though." And yes, it was way over the top! I love it!

Here in Thailand you will find many couples with large gaps in age. It is prevalent throughout the social structure and not just foreigners and Thais or males and females. These relationships are often more deep and longer lasting than relationships between peers.

Looking forward to all of these! I am really getting into reading the anthologies now. Valkyrie and Carlos Hazday have recently written some good essays about anthologies in the Writing World blog here on GA. Hidden Secrets was a great mystery, so I'm look forward to another great story there.

Can't do that! I'm afraid the elevators would go out and I would be stuck inside of one of them. I could look at them from the balcony of my apartment, but then I would get soaking wet in less than 10 seconds. It does rain that hard and the wind has blown the rain against my windows so hard at times that the water is pushed underneath them and into the room. No joke. 😧

A great start to the story. I like the new character that have been introduced. I hope that Tommy the hunter is the same Tommy from the first book. By the description, Quint is no longer in Angus' territory, but in Jon and Patrick's Pack territory. Zeke and his family are wonderful people in their acceptance and support of Quint. Quint has a great deal of healing that needs to get done. Amos sounds like a first class bastard asshole. He really should be put down for what he has done to Quint. I am hooked!

That is the kind of storm we get in Chiang Mai this time of year. Rain so hard you can't see things 100 meters away, and lightning that takes out transformers left and right.

I was a bit depressed by the beginning of the chapter, because it seemed that nothing was going to change. Maddox at least had finally calmed down enough to approach Rusty. I was surprised that Maddox decided to listen to what Rusty said. Rusty had the courage to tell Maddox about his singing and that turned the tide. Finding Jonathan's message in the book finally convinced Maddox. Too late to catch Jonathan, but Ray said it best. Jonathan tried to talk to Maddox for a week, so Maddox could wait for Jonathan to return in two days. I do wonder where Jonathan is going to strategize. Will he go to the food kitchen to talk with his friends there?

Great news! We get another great story.

Not a problem! Just wait until you get home from work, relax, have a drink or two then post sometime before bed time. That will give me plenty of time for a morning coffee and a delightful start to the day. You get to sleep in and don't have to interrupt your lunch break to post!

A Full Moon is an action packed adventure in a unique Lycan world. Jonathan seems to go through ladies faster than a Vegas dealer deals cards. He is also a very successful business executive who is transfered to the company's head office in Salem, MA. That's where his life takes a complete turn around. For some reason he can't take his eyes off of his new OA Patrick. Especially Patrick's ass. What ensues is a major shakeup of Jonathan's life and the company he works for. The story is filled with many different kinds of Lycans who oppose or assist. The characters are well written and you will feel a great deal of empathy for them. The plot is fast paced with twists that thrill and entertain you. Humor and hot sex are features used in much of the story which make the tension in the plot easier to handle. The novella length story is an easy read with a very happy ending.

The romantic trip with its hot sex was a nice start, even if it got interrupted. Dylan's illness is concerning and the hints it might be related to his status as a Lycan fascinated me. Is that the reason he is being hunted? Was he somehow infected before without his knowledge? I am also interested in the documents Gene sent and how they might relate to Dylan. Pop's surprise visit was a nice time. I appreciated the backstory for Jon's adoption. Knowing the answer to those questions, and how Alan and Travis know each other so well will be interesting information.

The trip to California was fun. I liked how Dylan got to do things he never had believed would happen. The costume was great, and fooled Tommy by its authentic look. The attack was unexpected, but seems to have been at the order of Angus. Why would Angus target Dylan. How will Mr. Andrews respond to the attack tomorrow? Will Angus be called on the carpet for this? It looks like Jon, Patrick and Dylan have the allegiance of Darius and Tommy in the future. They certainly are good neighbors to have.

I agree with @drsawzall and @Mawgrim that Kaden has many of the same aspects as S'brin. However, in my mind I was picturing him more like a younger brother version of H'rek. Kadin doesn't seem to have the emotional extremes of S'brin, and also a much closer attachment to Jevikel than S'brin did to G'dar. Kadin is much more likely to ask what Jevikel is thinking than telling Jevikel he thinks too much. I may be speaking too soon, but I cannot picture Kadin allowing things to come between Jevikel and him like S'brin did with G'dar.

I agree Timok is a stinker @astone2292. He's obnoxious, alway stalking in the background and seems present whenever shit hits the fan. I sometimes wonder if Essell's changes were as unexpected by Timok as he said. He's smart enough that it could have been an experiment planned by him. He certainly is a prime suspect for evil. Unfortunately he is also very secretive and I don't know very much about him even though he's been in the story from the very beginning. 🤔

Hi Clo Yes, I am seeing double, but it is because one eye sees great and the other is barely working. They just can't seem to get focused at the same time and place anymore. I am really excited about getting them both to work again. Surgery is for next week I hope.

Essell had a hell of a meltdown. Ases knows what to do to get him back and the courage to do it in spite of Bouncer's protective reaction. Since Ases can shift he is better prepared physically to face the dangers of the jungle. Essell has knowledge that may help them avoid much of the danger, but they all need to get to a safer place fast. I don't think Essell's fears for Garjah are justified. Garjah may be incapacitated, but I don't think that these terrorists have the courage to take out someone as powerful and important to the welfare of the planet as Garjah.
