Hey Clo. Fun fact for my day? You are acknowledged by AC Benus as a contributor to his novel, Carême in Brighton. You go girl!!! ❤️
-
Hi Clo! It looks like you need something to cool you down between the Hot! and the heat.
-
Don't worry drpaladin, @kbois has been to all of them, probably many times. Oops! Now I think of it...worry! A Lot!
-
Just so ya all know, I'm still around. Had cataract surgery and had to lay off the computer the last two days. I'm back!
-
You are all too funny!
-
Hope you all have a great day! I'm checking out for the night!

Great to hear they are all doing well. Good luck with Moma cat and her litter. ❤️ I've had up to two cats and two dogs at the same time. That was enough for me. 😄 I am assuming that yours are working cats dedicated to keeping things rodent free. Mine were just a bunch of freeloading kids.

Hi Gary! How are the three new kittens doing? Or are they still in hiding?

Kadin's work with Germessont is going well. Rioth's flight leads to an interesting conversation. Kadin and Jevikel talking about what might happen when they are dragonriders is important to their future relationship. They are sharing the ideas freely and honestly before there would be troubles with Jealousy. Lukodan is great as a mentor to the new candidates arriving. The new boys are given the truth about things in the weyr, and at least one has a bit of hold prejudice to deal with. D'gar's training the next day on how to slaughter herdbeasts is a good introduction in how to care for your dragon. The next lesson on the importance of sorting the stone was a good step before learning their first jobs of carrying the stone to the waiting dragons. As pointed out, they will need to have strength in order to do this job as well as throw bags to the rides during threadfall when the are able to fly their dragons. D'gar learned his lessons well as a youngster, but teaches it even better to his charges. I am counting down the chapters until these kids are standing on the hot sand, waiting to impress their own dragons. Great story!

Hi Albert! I'm doing good. I get to increase my time on the computer now, so I have been reading today. Have you read AC Benus' Carême in Brighton? There is a whole lot of food history in the story. Clo was sighted by AC Benus as an advisor to him on French culture. Very cool! What are you and Steve up to today?

If I have and engineering or math problem, then I'll listen to you. Health problems??? I don't think so. You like radiation too much. If you can't fix it, you nuke it.

I love Billy Joel! Kage's inspiration of fighting fire with fire with the elemental by remembering We Didn't Start the Fire was brilliant! Kage is so in love with Elijah it hurts! He will be hard pressed to leave Elijah alone, so it's either take Elijah with him, or call in the Montana crew. What a dangerous twist! You are my favorite evil author.

This is so right! The boss's assignment is going to mean Kage can't be there to protect Elijah! Tyler is great as a friend and support, but not against powerful shifter. Seb and company need to get into the action quick! Not just for Elijah, but also for the missing pups! They have suffered enough! As for the goodbye fucks? Righteous!

All that seriousness, and then you wrote this???? @kbois, where did you get this twisted imagination? I didn't know whether to cry for Kage, or laugh myself silly with this awesomely screwy idea.

Hi Guys and Princess Clo! Just checking in. The eye is doing great. I get to take off the patch to put drops in and clean around the eye. I can't believe how bright and beautiful the world is with all the new clarity and colors! I haven't seen the world like this before. Having thick glasses from about 8 years old, it is amazing to see (out of the right eye) things clearly without glasses! I also never realized how cataracts have dimmed the colors before. My left eye is like looking at an old print of a color photo from the seventies. Dull and beige at best. The right eye is amazing. I am seeing colors in things I bought years ago without realizing how colorful the really are! I can wait until I get the left I done. Sorry to be carrying on, but it is a miracle to me. Hope you are all doing well! I am missing hanging with you guys, but need to follow the doctor's orders for now. Have a great day!

Chapter 25: Bumpy Banquets
raven1 commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 25: Bumpy Banquets
I agree with you about Bon Chon Korean restaurants and their fries! We have two Bon Chon restaurants here in Chiang Mai. The chicken and fries are so good. The funny thing was until I read your comment, I thought this chain of restaurants were only in a few cities outside of SE Asia. I also learned the company is based in Dallas, Texas. I got a big laugh out of that. -
Good Evening Page! Everything OK with you guys today?

Good Morning All!

Good Night All! Following the doctor's orders and getting rest. Hope you all have a great day.

Levi and Merlin seem to have found the next element while Jin was fighting his Uncle Percival. Vicky put an end to the fight, and the rest of the red dragon army submitted to Jin. I was surprised that he welcomed them to the kingdom when they acknowledge he was the leader. I just seemed a bit too easy. I also wonder why Zephyr is still stalking Sune, and what he wants to show him. Obviously the elders are also planning an attack on Jin, and expect the knights to be convinced to help them. They may be surprised by some very hostile knights. Bastion and Sage have no time for traitorous elders who do not live up to their responsibilities. Urien was hidden by Morgana and Levi by Merlin, apparently with the same foster parents. This is an interesting twist and I wonder if Morgana will get what she expects.

Damn! I just got caught up. Now I have to wait with everyone else.....errg.

I was disappointed in the parents, especially Mom. Dad is not far behind, but maybe he thinks meeting Jonathan will help win Mom over. He maybe keeping Mom in check until he can help here overcome her problem. Rusty has some very excellent lines, like the rubbing off using a baseball mitt. I wonder what he used for a blindfold. Maddox's underwear? I also am intrigued about the note left for Maddox. My guess is that it will say, "I love you so much" or "I will love you forever". Xpress is now going to set the next storm up for Monday. I hope Jonathan and Maddox's phones are working and they call. Jonathan needs to tell Maddox about Rusty before disaster strikes on Monday. Great chapter to set up the next loop de loop of the coaster.

Buckaroo was the anglicized version of the Spanish word vaquero used by Americans settling in the Spanish owned lands of SW America. It’s first known use was in 1827. Both words mean cowboy. The ‘v’ in Spanish is pronounce as a ‘b’ in English, so Baquero sounds similar to buckaroo. Vacca is Latin for cow, hence the origin of vaquero date back to Roman times. The Sanskrit for cow is somewhat similar to the Latin word, and may be related. “Buckaroo.” Merriam-Webster.com Dictionary, Merriam-Webster, https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/buckaroo.
