I agree 100% with @Pickalane about Jessica. She's very observant and compassionate. Kyan has just discovered he is not a 0 on the Kinsey scale and will definitely be hungover and confused. Perry has definitely made his claim on Kyan. I hope this doesn't lead to the 'Lose' in the title. I do feel sorry for Max and I think Kyan will feel bad about blocking, but Perry did tell Kyan that Max wasn't what he wanted. I wonder what surprises MrsG has in store for us next. The description of what happens at CC Slaughters was very authentic. How many hours did you spend there doing research?

Nice coverage from ESPN and The Weather Channel! What I need to keep up with Devin and Mac is some tutorials from Khan Academy. Mac has a lot to learn this summer and I hope once he is at the reservation it will be easier because of what Devin has already taught him. 🤔

As always, I loved the chapter and hated Connor! There are some very interesting dynamics happening, and I expect we will see some explosive results in the next chapter.

I like this idea, but think Shamus would be a good choice to talk to Perry. He is a bit better at seducing convincing a reluctant man with a baby to look after.

I found the chapter to be very interesting. CC Slaughters is definitely a great place to dance. Scandals is more than a hookup bar, because it also is a place for the community to gather for events. As for Kyan's level on the Kinsey scale, I would imagine it to be somewhere around 3-4. It has to be in that range, because any less than 3 and he would not be attracted to males. Any more than 4 would make it difficult to have produced 4 children at such a rapid rate. As for the pairings, I think a Perry/Max would shorten the story. That would not be a @Mrsgnomie style at all. She loves to draw out the story as much as possible with a lot of twists to keep us guessing. I also don't thing Max is a throw away character, so there will be someone wonderful for Max. Look how upset she got when @kbois threw away Caleb! Love the comments and bickering!

Very well-written chapter with great visual images you have created with your words. Connor and Danny are well-developed characters. I like the way they are bonding. The dream is a good addition seeming to foreshadow a future for Connor. I also enjoyed the way Connor is learning about the horses. The way you describe the horse's skills and development was enlightening and well done.

Little cliffies are OK and can be effective, so I'll wait until we find out what Gavin says in the next chapter. Gavin didn't wake up River and yell at him. He just put the computer safely on the desk. To me that indicates that either Gavin was OK with what he saw or saw nothing at all. Gavin thinks River is straight, so the dorm room reservation may have been for two guys. Gavin might have lied saying it was a girl, since he may worry that River would be upset thinking that Gavin was gay. A great chapter Aaron!

Great start @astone2292! I find the journal entries entertaining and easy to read. River is funny and intelligent. Gavin is an interesting contrast to River. I like that fact that Gavin and his teammates are not stereotypical. I had a good time drooling of the guys a food. I had to look up Rally's/Checkers fries, then went to find a recipe for them online. This is a great first chapter!

Arnaud is impatient for the painting to be hung. I believe that he wants to see that before he dies and is worried he will die before he sees the work completed. I wonder what they will use for the lighting. A painting is meant to be seen.

Armand's compassion and understanding led him to help Carl's friend the Chef Boy. He is doing it because the boy is like his other adopted children, especially Carl. GG will make is possible as usual. Armand should let Colin know they are getting another son. The angels are certainly creating a stir in the city of Paris.
