    Chapter 1

Great Story! Loved the bantering, it flowed so naturally.
  2. Guarding the Line He was in charge of holding the line. His comrades in arms were doing their best to hold off the offensive moves of the Raiders, but he was the last line of defense. Brady's sharp eyes cut to his right for only a moment. Ryan. He knew exactly where he was. Waiting. Cheering. For him. His heart thundered in his chest. Ryan. He didn't know what it was about the new kid, but Brady couldn't stop thinking about him. The shy teen had pushed every one of the desires B
  3. Brady sits on a line. He guards it viciously. Nothing is going to cross it. Not even himself.

    Chapter 8

Yes, their anger at Rowland's poisoning is blinding them a bit, and Kye feels like he is partly responsible since he didn't stop it when he could have.

    Chapter 9

Chapter 9 A hand shook my shoulder. "Come on, little one, wake up." No, please, I'd just fallen asleep... I tried ignoring Donnelly, my self-appointed keeper. I think they had decided to torment me by depriving me of sleep because every time I finally managed to drift off, the man was here waking me back up. Throughout the entire night, I was sure I'd only managed a bit of actual sleep. "You know what Dr. Fulbert said. I need to wake you up every couple of hours, make you drink and eat

    Chapter 8

Chapter 8 "Sir!" I sputtered instinctively as I jolted up to the icy water dousing my face. I scrambled to find my footing, yet only succeeded in crashing my shoulder into a wall when I stumbled incoherently. A rumbling laugh echoed around me, and it took me several long punishment-worthy seconds of leaning on the wall before I could focus. The drab gray stone walls were unfamiliar, so I did my best to pull myself together into position. Once I finally got my feet planted, drawing in a

    Chapter 7

Kye is very self-deprecating. He's been taught by his father and Barrett that he's nothing, especially after his brother left. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

    Chapter 7

Sam's view of Kye has definitely been jaded by his stay at Barrett's, seeing Kye as the pampered pet his master wants everyone to see. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

  20. I have a short one started I started Friday, but the flu has knocked me on my butt this weekend with a massive headache, aches, fever, and congestion. Maybe I can get to it tomorrow, and hopefully Caz will be able to look it over if she's not too busy.
  21. Thank you all so very much...

    Chapter 7

Chapter 7 "—find him!" My body jerked at the sound, but I couldn't push the fog from my brain enough for the voice to make sense. "He tried to kill my brother! I'll have his head! He's here somewhere, Liam, I know it!" I winced at the reverberating shout, wishing it would just shut up and let me sink back into the peaceful darkness. No, he's not here, I wanted to yell back. Just go away! Footsteps pounded, and I realized they were now in the room, ransacking it in search of my master
  23. Sorry about missing a posting last week for Falling Apart. I hope you will understand that it was a very trying week last week as my brother-in-law (my husband's younger brother) died of a heartattack. It was sudden and very unexpected and left us all reeling. I was in GA (as some of you might already know from my status update) for most of last week for the funeral. Then I was sick when we got back and slept most of the weekend (except for another trip up to PA for a gymnastics meet on Valentines Day). So, it was rather busy and I hope to get back to posting at least once a week. And hopefully writing as well...otherwise my posting will catch up to where I'm stuck!

    Story

I really enjoyed it. It vaguely reminded me of one of my favorite movies "Hero", where a Vagrant saves plane full people, but a really good guyends up getting credit, the two decide to continue the charade and Itescalates from there. Anyway enough rambling, great story!
