    This is a great idea. I only recently discovered the prompts in late November and really enjoy the challenge. Unfortunately, so far, I've had a hard time trying to come up with something for the scenario ones. Give me a list of words or first line anytime! Maybe once I get the current story out of my head, it'll be free to think more about these!!!

    Not sure how I feel about James up to this point. I really kinda hate him, but I also know that he's acting out because he feels neglected by his father. I really hope the whole lot of them get some counseling. I'm hoping to see James come around and be more understanding towards Sacha. I can't wait to get back to reading the rest.

    I live in Leesburg, VA (Northern Va), and I really love it here mostly because I'm close to my parents. But I love the mountains, so I'd probably want to live a little further south in the mountains somewhere.

    Just wanted to say that I'm nine chapters and 20k+ words into the Tears of the Neko sequel, so it is coming along. I expect it will be shorter than the original, but we'll see after my betas get back to me. I have sent the first six chapters to them today, but of course, being the holidays, I don't expect to hear from them soon. I have been sick the last two weeks, and that has slowed down my intended progress quite a bit. But I would still expect to have it out in January, just maybe not right at the beginning. Oh, and I think I've decided on a title for it: Blood of the Neko (in keeping with same format as Tears of the Neko). When I got bored and couldn't focus on writing, I played around with a cover. I'll have to see if I can get it added in here...

    Thanks! I seem to take those words that won't fit into the 'neko world' easily as a challenge to make them work--and it was just staring at me while I was working on the sequel.

    I'm glad you enjoyed it. And apparently, I can't seem to stay away from writing the shorts--those prompts are addictive and I love a challenge. So I guess there is the probably of more; I just didn't have any more planned, until this new one hit me today.

    Hehe, well, apparently, I've already reconsidered! Since one hit me today in the middle of working on the sequel. So maybe more will continue to smack me over the head.

    Yes, I am in the process of writing the sequel right now. I've only gotten about 3 chapters done so far, but both of my previous stories I've tended to write in about two weeks, once I really get going, so I am still hopeful to have it done for posting in January.

    Yes, soon, hopefully by January. And apparently, I can't seem to stay away from the prompts (they are so darned addictive), and so I just posted the one I wrote while I was in the middle of working on the sequel.

    She's become a much more dynamic character in the shorts than she was in the original story, and I've enjoyed writing a bit about her.

    Well, apparently, you'll have both! Since I was just working on the sequel and I was inspired by the prompt that was just posted to write another short! That one will actually probably appear in the sequel though.

    Thank you. I really am enjoying writing them. I think it's because they are short one-offs and I can jot them out pretty quickly and have fun with them. I think the 'books' are just more serious, whereas these aren't necessarily (although some turned out that way). I plan on Kayden staying on as Damien's companion, even when he's king. Damien is already anticipating that he will do as his uncle did, naming his nephew as his heir. I'm on chapter 3 of the sequel right now. It's slow going, as I'm sick at the moment. But hoping to have it done over the holidays!
