    Loz

Defiance19 commented on Thorn Wilde's story chapter in Loz

I’m glad to see the changes in Loz. He is remorseful and more self aware, which are good things. Good chapter, Thorn. I actually want good things for Loz..

    The Long Way Home

Oh, this is so very good, tim. So good in fact, I forgot to drink my coffee that I so desperately wanted. Lol. I have thoughts, but it’s too early I guess for anything, so I will wait (im)patiently.. Great start!

    The Sighting

Defiance19 commented on Ivor Slipper's story chapter in The Sighting

Yep, leaving ‘dad’ hanging out there like that definitely pokes at all of my curious buttons. Will be interesting to see what comes of it. Very well done, Ivor.

The tears were still falling as he grasped the doorframe, watching the dark figure disappear in the rain. When he woke up that morning, Matthew could not have predicted that by day’s end his life would have imploded in such an unimaginable way. He held one hand tightly over his mouth, and the other over his stomach. It didn’t stay the heaving or stop the searing pain coursing through his body. He watched until he couldn’t see anything but shadows, then he opened his mouth to let the pain and wre

    Rainbow Colours

Until I got involved with volunteering for World Pride this year, I hadn’t really known about this group called SAGE, beyond hearing about them. They do really amazing things for the LGBTQ seniors. The tag is, ‘We refuse to be invisible.’ I realise how many people out there are like Eric and these advocate groups are really helpful. Thank you for telling this story, and for helping to broaden my awareness. Oh, and I hope it really was Rob and Eric gets his chance. See you next book! 😀

    Adventure

Defiance19 commented on northie's story chapter in Adventure

I’m reading this chapter now, and it’s funny that I just helped this lady find her way on the train. She was so wary of my explanation, kept asking if I was sure because she hadn’t done this before. I had to promise I set her on the right path. Almost made me feel badly that I didn’t actually take her there.
