I wish Loz well.. I’m glad he’ll get help I hope it’s years of it. I’m glad he’ll have his father’s support. I can’t help feel a little bit off that he’s keeping what he did from his brothers and dad agrees. Essentially lying. It’s his family. This is where he needs to start, by taking ownership. Maybe he will in time. He’s got his whole life still, he’d better make good on the chance he’s been given.

We need more, and effective programs within the system that intervene and give them a chance at rehabilitation before jail. In some cases it’s not offered and jail is definitely not warranted. As stated before the system needs work. Badly .

I feel like this is the true beginning for Daniel. Every thing is out and people in authority, his parents know. Nothing ahead is going to be easy.

I saw advertised, a new machine that would fold your clothing, department store style, straight from the dryer.. Coming soon... Naturally, I sent out an email to the family as a possible Christmas gift.. I can’t print the responses, but ‘Hell No’ was the general consensus.. 😐🙃

I see how Shaun could entertain suicidal thoughts. Every way he looks doesn’t hold hope, and hopeless is a sad state. If that is true, it would explain why the mother projects her issues onto her sons, instead of taking ownership of her own failings. -

I want to continue reading through. Consider this a breath before I move on. I’m not seeing a good turn for Shaun just yet. Caring? Not a word of sympathy or show of empathy. You can hear all that she doesn’t say, “it’s your fault” in those questions.. Ok.. I can believe that Shaun is not her top priority.. Now he’s back under her thumb. -

It is a very chilly day, and reading these last two chapters together has warmed up my afternoon considerably. So, thank you... Louis and Don, acknowledging, talking about, working through, and accepting the changes ahead for them is refreshing. It’s never going to be without hiccups, and it would be easy for Louis to bear resentment, but these two are committed in every way, and it shows. Max reaching out is so good! Well done, tim..
