    The Mojo is Back

Slept like shit last night—remarkable how quickly I've become addicted to sleeping with Bubba beside me. First time we've been apart since all this started ... what, almost 4 months ago? Woke up early, maybe 6am or so. Made coffee, had a smoke on the balcony, mentally planned out the day, and thought about lots of things. Biggest issue is feeling I've lost my “edge”. Notice it comes back when I'm not doing the mood-management drugs Doc had prescribed almost two months ago. It's like I'm outwar

    Chapter 1

What a great set of characters you've built - - and what a great story line! You've left all sorts of possibilities open for the next chapters. your writing is solid, and I'm looking forward to more! Now, get busy - - where's that next chapter? Lol!
  3. Too hot! I was reading this on my iPhone when it exploded into flames. You owe me a new phone! Seriously good writing here. Making sex read as something other than "insert tab A into slot B" is a special talent...and you did well! Looking forward to the next chapters!
  4. what a great feel good chapter! Hot sex, clearing the air between them, and then the promise of more hot sex - - sounds like a great way to spend the day! Seriously, you did well on this chapter. looking forward to more!

    Echo

another fine chapter - - and another cliffhanger! Like one of the other reviewers I'm hoping that the newly acquired mental powers of our heroes can link with the mental energy of the Furballs, and save the AI of the spire. Looking forward to the next chapter!

    Dissonance

Yikes! Tough chapter! But you handled it well. And obviously, the plumber will get his one day! Another fine job of writing!
  7. Loving the characters you've built--and really want to see what happens with Kevin and our hero! Nice job!
  8. Hiya, Mokster! Glad you're here....you're gonna find a lot of fun folks and good reading! Get ready for an outrageously good time!
  9. Moving chapter....including "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" was touching and meaningful for our band of "brothers". Truly enjoying this story!
  10. Fanciful, glad you're here--and plenty of good reads and good folks to explore! You'd asked about lesbian stories...I'm now aware of a separate genre for that here, but you CAN find some by looking for stories "tagged" as lesbian. Click on "stories" in the menu bar, then go down the left hand column to "tags". Click on if, and "lesbian" appears as an option. Of course, if you don't find what you like/want/need there, it may be a giant cosmic hint for you to try your writing skills! Again, glad you're here!
  11. Lots of new folks here--and welcome to all! So much to do/explore here--don't be surprised to find chunks of time gone in your lives as you explore the breadth and depth of GA! And, please do comment on what you read here--your voice is important, and makes a difference! Welcome one and all!

    Spire

Yeah! The other intelligence (artificial intelligence) is going to help! Sorry so many of the Furballs are gone--the feeling's there that, although they project simple thoughts, their collective mind was quite complex--and they'd simply not been exposed recently to other thought patterns/input. Great chapter!
  13. Fun chapter! Amazing how much you packed in here. The added touch of bringing Tyson in from the other story was genius! Not only is his a good story (love on the Rocks was a great read!) but it's a reminder that even incidental characters in our tales have their own lives too. Really enjoying this story and where you're taking it--looking forward to the next chapters!

    Better Days

You did a great job of contrasting CJ's maturity and sense of responsibility along with the teenage angst of growing up. His questions about his dads' relationship after interviewing with the school, and acceptance with Rubio's office, was a great blend of an adult approach to making decisions and an adolesent's fears after an "abandonment" by his mom--despite the difference between his mom's relationship and his dads'. GREAT job, buddy!

    Chapter 9

What a great "feel good" chapter! Love it! Gonna be interesting to see the emotions play between Josh and Ethan.....regardless, it's all done in your usual fine style. I'm loving it, and looking forward to the next chapter!
  16. Growing up in the deep South (actually, outside of Ruston and a Scout!), this story rings all the right notes--boyish innocence, southern tradition, realistic dialogue, and a real sense of feeling for those times. Somehow, I'd missed this story, and read it all at this point in one sitting--definately worth it! Damn fine writing!
  17. Thanks, Gary!Dave's been somewhat of a quiet guy throughout this tale; and yet, his perspective is obviously different from Barry's, and adds balance. For example, Dave's response to the drag show at the bar is pretty much matter-of-fact; certain that Barry's response would have been far different. Also his response to the sex--Dave's picking up the deeper meanings and subtle nuances, while Barry's blown-out-of-the-water (so to speak) by the overall intensity of their pairing. Overall they make a great time--and glad that's coming through in the story. Thank you for the kind words--and for your input!
  18. Thanks for the kind words, Cole!Yup, they've certainly had to deal with some rough patches early on--jealously, finances, building a new life and new jobs in a new town--but hoping it makes 'em stronger. And think Barry has changed his approach to relationships (See the comments to Flamingo, below) simply because he had to--if he doesn't change he's alone. Thanks for reading along--and for the kind comments!
  19. Mike, glad you enjoyed the chapter!Really did want to show the interplay of two strong men who can make things work--this time it was through logic and (Barry's) realization that he can't continue to do the same things over and over and expect different responses. Barry's far more mellow in his dealings with Dave--I think simply because he recognizes Dave is truly putting him first. For a guy who's had to fight up the corporate ladder and do "what it takes", that's quite a switch! And suspect Barry is gonna make his point with Chuck--just watch! Thanks for reading along!
  20. Gonna be fun to see where this goes next......Suspect Carl will try to make a move, but Jared's dad will figure it out and block it. Lots going on in the last 2 chapters...looking forward to seeing where you go with this! Some great/fun/non-traditional werewolf characters!

    Chapter 9

Nicely done! You've built a nice dynamic between the two men...can't wait for the next chapter!

    Chapter 12

Great last couple of chapters! But the previous reviewers are all correct--we need to keep Martin away, let this relationship build, and then watch Casey save the day with his swim skills! Alas, I suspect Martin is gonna return at a most inopportune time.... Good job building the tension of the story and of making your characters real! Looking forward to what's ahead!
  23. Defiance, you're right--just another session that ends up making the relationship stronger! And don't think Chuck is gonna be a problem...suspect Bulldog will nip that in the bud! Thanks for following!
  24. Thanks, Lit! Although this chapter was a little shorter than others, it really covered a lot of things...and I think you're right--the relationship is stronger than ever! Thanks for the comments!
  25. LOL! With two strong men, you CAN run over those bumps pretty easily! Thanks for the comments--that line about the plot running over the bumps made me smile!
