This is a very well written book that shines a very bright light on a very brutal crackdown on people who are different and misunderstood because “Society” has deemed them dangerous. I want to offer a warning that this book covers systemic ruthless abuse of young men and boys and is hard to read. I strongly advise you to read so that you are better prepared! Professor Lydon has done extensive research, and you will not be disappointed! 👏❤️😃

The boys of Blackwater were triumphant in their battle to remain true to themselves. They carry emotional and physical scars of their battles that will follow them for the rest of their lives. Subject #18 was able to see what was being used against them and developed the plan to win for them all. Abuse in any form for the betterment of society is reprehensible, the saddest part of these beliefs is that very few people stand up to the ingrained hatred utilized against a group of misunderstood people. It is true that there have been positive changes, however, another ideologue can come forward at any time to overturn the progress made. This is a very emotionally disturbing book that helps shine a light on a very reprehensible time in out collective past. The final compromise was poetic and welcome, while allowing the abusers to slip away without any accountability. This is a very well written book by an author who is exceptionally talented and who does deep research on his topics. Thank you Professor for bringing this matter into the light! A heartwarming tale of President Will, First Gentleman Andrew, and Huey, Dewey, and Louie Carter their nephews spent babysitting, reading stories, and campfire songs! You absolutely should read this story, you will not be disappointed!! 👏❤️😃

This is a great ending to a rather unique developing relationship. There was a monumental shift in how they perceived each other. A true respect and feelings were being discovered by both. I think that another short story set in the future with these characters would help to show how their relationship grew with each other and Ben’s family. Thank you for another great read! This is a story about an aging gay man nearing the end of his life and the gay Uber driver who is driving him to the rest home. This is a very moving and profound story about a life. This a space opera / telenovela that is intriguing , mysterious, dangerous, and downright funny. The main characters are Ericks who is a thief, Lucas who is a construct / military police, and Tripp who is a hacker. There are many twists and turns and lots of laughs. Wow! What a sad and moving tale. Johnny and Emmet found a fragile friendship and he does not know why his father said no to the fishing trip, he does not yet understand the connection, but dad does and allows him to come along. He knows the violent drunk who is beating the boy, and is afraid of what may come. His prayer to protect them both is profound, and hopefully will spur action. I see the potential in this story and hope you will consider revisiting them. Thank you for the genius you show in the stories that you share with us! 👏❤️😃

This is the fifth book in the Charlie vs. Series and you will definitely need to read the previous four to understand the cast of characters to prevent confusion. The family is going on a Mediterranean vacation at a luxury resort where Cecil is suffering from separation anxiety, there is a strike amongst the workers, and angels who do not live up to their reputation’s, You should read this story to enjoy the hilarity! My hat is off to the author who never disappoints!! 👏❤️😃

They move to an out of the way place to have a drink. While talking they admit that they are both failures at work and in relationships and remember fondly prom night when they nearly danced. You will need to read the story to find out what happens next… I highly recommend this story and the incredibly talented author. 👏❤️😃

A visit with our favorite four boys at Christmas in Australia. Alex gives Steve a present which they take out. Steve decides to give Kenny a present which leads to… You should read this story which is hysterical. Be prepared tp laugh out loud. Enjoy this gem! 👏❤️😃

Thank you so much for this glimpse into the safety exile to Australia for the boys! They are definitely putting the highway patrol to the test. Brian and Alex’s adventure ended in a very romantic interlude on the beach. Steve and Kenny’s romantic Christmas lunch was over engineered and a chaotic failure, however, Kenny despite the chaos, stepped in to save Steve from himself. They worked together as a couple deeply in love and sorted out the meal. Steve was thankful and seduced Kenny in the loving room, where Brian and Alex found them. This was a very profound look into both couples, which of course, is dramatic, chaotic and very loving! I truly enjoyed this story and look forward to visiting again in the future. 👏❤️😃

This is book 2 in the El Coyote series. It would be helpful to have read the first book to understand the dynamics and history of the characters. This is a no holds barred, high speed, action filled, mystery thriller which takes place in the Quebec territory in winter. There are bad guys, a CSIS operative pulling strings, and El Coyote. I highly recommend this book and the creative genius author who wrote it!! 👏❤️😃

Wow, That was the perfect ending to an amazingly complex tale. These characters you have created and nurtured came through together, even when split into two teams. El Coyote played a much larger role in this story than expected. His meeting after with the boys showed how deeply attached he has become to them all. Mi Familia is a used because they earned it by saving Alex and each other, as well as using the skills and talents that they have to save each other and the world! This was book 3 in the Silver Boar Saga which is the end of this trilogy. This story is about the final battles leading up to, during and after the siege of Jerusalem and the bloody, horrifying, and sadistic “Holy Wars.” Darrien and the vanguard are brutally efficient without being cruel, however, the overwhelming desires for riches and power, by those upper echelon leaders are not worried about the costs of genocide. This is a very well written, very well researched story about a very troubling time in past history, and I highly recommend that you read it. The author is incredible at telling stories and deserves to be followed! 👏❤️😃

I very much enjoyed this book! I got caught up in Into the Sand, which follows this book. I was eight chapters in when life, work schedules, and general chaos distracted me and let this book sit unfinished for a few months. I am glad that I have finally finished the first series and now have a better understanding of those books that have followed. Your research and attention to details helped your readers better understand the period and the motivations of the characters. A very amusing tale about an 11 year old bully who is the brightest nerd in the school, he is a holy terror who runs up against a theater kid who brings complete destruction to his well ordered empire! You will absolutely enjoy this story which was created by a brilliant author continues to amaze me with the storylines, the plot twists and turns, and especially his ability to create characters that you will fall in love with and adore! 👏❤️😃

Another wonderfully written story about the romantic magic of Merrickville. The main characters are Tom and Warren and we get the joy of watching them go from friends to lovers. It is a truly hilarious tale that you will be glad that you read. I highly recommend this story! I also highly recommend this author, he has a magical way of storytelling that includes amazing plot lines, and a simply amazing way of creating characters that have depth and real emotions.
