New campers are introduced to to the concept of cryptids by way of the snipe hunt. -
How sad for Enrico to find Ezra's selfless loyalty to him so unique and compelling. Sinclair keeps making miscalculations which are huge. Targeting Ezra using Emrico might be the last mistake he makes.

You don't have to understand the complexities of cosmology to be in awe of the beauty and perfection of the universe. -
A dose of reality here. No doctor would leave someone suffering from hypothermia in wet clothes because heat would continue to leach out of the body Andrew was in there too long to recover so easily. Other than this, good chapter.

Graeme uses the advantage of his magic armor skillfully. The bandits were overconfident in their numbers. Graeme protected Sam from his own eagerness to fight. It likely saved his life. He wasn't ready for the realities of battle.

It occurs to me promising a result beforehand is a terrible idea.

Poor naive Ezra. "Can you promise to try not to (hurt anyone)?" It's a hopeful, but quixotic plea which can't be kept. And Enrico selfishly drags Ezra into his dark world. One grainy image. How long can Enrico remain incognito?
