I think it would be a tortuous piece of plotting. They have already been close enough to recognize any attraction, if one was there. In my wildest imagination, I can't see Theodore with a squirrel as a mate. Starting a new pack will be challenging, even with his resources. He'll need an equally strong mate. Besides it would be a bit too much if all the characters went for male mates. -

This chapter was like watching someone blindfolded playing hopscotch on a series of high wires. The stomach wrenching tension was too familiar. I had serious doubts about Jacob having appendicitis, the symptoms didn't quite fit. Sepsis is insidious, and Jacob has a severe case. The mortality rate is high. In Geneva, Andrew missed Enrico by seconds and was impersonating Jared while the man himself was supporting Will. How awkward. There were camera flashes as Will arrived at the hospital. Is it common for paparazzi to stake out hospital ERs?
