By removing access from their other properties, George has really given Caroline no place to go, although he has overlooked the estate on the Isle of Wight. Scruggs is quite a surprise and is surely to be a new conquest.

George has approached this like a naval action and has raked Caroline bow and stern, delivered effective vroadsides, and I don't see whe has much recourse. She will be furious, but she's done this to herself.
