Well, I couldn't keep everyone waiting, could I? Except, of course, to respond to reviews. That took me awhile. But Brady hadn't had his truly heroic moment yet, Addy already did when she saved Chelsea. I had to give it to Brady.

It was a goal date set after he turned 18, but not so soon that he'd be worrying about it on his birthday itself. The whole gang is doing well so far, but that just means they can be a greater force of change for those less fortunate.

The ending was also a hint as to some of the characters that will be central to the sequel. And yes, the major thought process behind Silas waiting to make the call was that he'd be 18 a year after the events of the previous chapters.

Damn... I'm feeling quite loved at the moment. Too bad I'm out of likes or I'd "like" the shit out of all of you. To answer a few quick points... There is a sequel planned, but when the muse will allow me to work on it is a completely different matter. I anticipate that I'll work on something else before Trailblazer(The working title for book two in the series) gets any work on it. The sequel will be several years after the end of The Navigator, and I happen to have it almost completely outlined, even if there has been no actual writing on it as of yet. Would you all really be upset if it ended with a cliffhanger? I will say no more, muahahaha! You all rock. Thanks for sticking with me.
