I don't understand why a vampire would go after a child so young when there are so many people out there for them to feed upon. I hope that they don't run into any more like this young child in the future. The 3d scanner sounds like a cool gadget to have when it's needed to do what they need at the time. I want the computer system they have at the VUN, I really like the speed of it and the ability to get into any other systems to gain the knowledge that they need to hunt down the vampires they seek out.

This was a really fun chapter, I think for a lot of the kids at the shelter this was a very pleasant experience. I think it may take some time to get Lee to relax a bit more and not flinch when someone gives him a hug. Since Beau is now with Coach Fergie and Coach Campbell he seems to be coming out of his shell compared to when he first arrived.

New York City's Dark World
Butcher56 commented on R. Eric's story chapter in New York City's Dark World
It's getting interesting now to say the least, if Colin knew of that area and some of the vampires in there and now the three of them are going to another area and who knows what they'll find there. I hope that at least some of the vampires in the 1st area will come quietly and consider using the serum. -
I really hope that the senator is a man of his word and not on some quest of his own in order to terminate every last vampire. From what he saw hehas for sure decided to back the task force in hunting these types of vampires that feed on humans, they'll also be hunting for the kind that only feed on animals. I hope that they can turn a majority of the good vampires around so that they're able to live an almost normal life for once.

Alexander Chance Returns to the World
Butcher56 commented on R. Eric's story chapter in Alexander Chance Returns to the World
I believe that the name should be shadow seekers, but you need to make sure that the government doesn't step in and try to take the organization over from Colin and George. I hope that they can come to an agreement with the FBI if not in its entirety but with the small group of agents that will be working on the task force with the vampires. -
Oh no an agent for the government in the midst of the vampires, I only hope they get him in time and are able to find out who he reports to and why he's there. All they need is to have the government to get involved in the vampire affairs. And now knowing about Devon, Colin and Gabby and about the serum it prove to be disastrous to the lab and everything else they've built up over time.

It appears that Betty and Gabriella did a fantastic job of planning the wedding. I'm sure that Colin and Devon are going to have a wonderful life in whatever comes their way to deal with.

I believe when CJ says no you better listen if you don't you could end up in the hospital. I mean if you go to grab a guys ass and he tells you politely not to do it again but you keep trying it you better know how to defend yourself from a martial arts trained guy. Waiting for more. Another great chapter.

Devon and Colin are becoming more and more inseparable as time goes on. Colin likes the fact that Devon is right there when he injects the serum, at times he even allows Devon to do the injection. I like the fact that Colin now has his daughter with him as well, she's on the serum as well. Gabby seems to be fitting in nicely with everyone and everything around her, she's learning all over again since she's been a vampire for centuries. George is a great man and he is very dedicated to his work trying to find a way to perfect his serum as well as trying to find a cure for the vampire condition. I think Devon will work with Colin to personalize the suite of rooms he has at Holms Labs. Devon’s trying very hard to learn as much as he can about Colin and the vampire condition if you can call it that.

There are so many differences between what I've read about vampires before compared to other stories. This is the 1st time I've ever read about any type of serum or anything else that would allow a vampire to be able to be out in the daytime, eat real food, or do anything else that we take for granted. I'm really enjoying the story, I think it's great to read that Colin and Devon have found Gabriella who is Colin's daughter, Colin has given her 2 doses of the serum so far. I'm glad that Colin trusts Devon enough to allow him to be the manager for the property, not only during the rebuilding process but afterwards as well. On to the next chapter to see what happens next.
-
I like the story quite a bit, I'm wanting to know more about what happens between Devon and Colin. Their working relationship may become more if they both want it.
-
This is a very interesting story so far, and by the looks of it it's only going to get better as it progresses. I'll say one thing this Colin has a strong taste for some strong coffee.

Great chapter, I'm glad they are finally back home after the situation they came home to. It's good that Katherine's brother is wanting to be protective of her but his mouth and actions were uncalled for, I mean how could he say Will was responsible for what happened when they were all together in Florida when it happened. I know he's apologized for what he said to Will but I think he needs to be a bit more reserved in what he says. I hope that Seb moves in taking their offer with the minor restrictions put out by the parents. I'm sure that the dinner he has with them will help him make up his mind about the move. I hope that I'll continue to see more chapters in the near future.

Another great chapter, it appears that Ritchie's settling in just fine living with CJ, Brett and Cesar. Life is defenitly going to be different with the Abello\Davenport family now that they have 2 young men living in the house. I really think both boys are going to become real close again, it's to bad that their mother and the Colonel had to die for it to happen, eventhough Ritchie was finally able to get some time visiting CJ whenever he could. I liked how you went from a somber start to a laughable section then get down to the serious stuff.
-
I know I said it before but I'm going to say it again I am very very happy for CJ and Richie finally getting to be together again for the rest of time. Richie has been missing CJ quite a bit so I think he's going to be loving the new life he's about to start. It's going to be a rough time at first but I believe that with time Richie will start to really make sure that he'll never be separated from his brother again. I think Brett and Cesar are going to be making adjustments to their respective lives because Richie is three years younger than CJ when he came to live with them through no fault of his own. I really believe that Richie will have a more enriched life do to the move as CJ has done since his move just a little more than two years ago. Good luck to all of the guys as they settle in to the newest additions to the family, because they can't leave wingnut in Miami.
-
I was hoping that Richie would be able to move to Washington DC to be back with CJ and his dad's as well as the gang there. I truly believe that the experience will be a great one for Richie as it was for CJ in the beginning it'll be rough but I believe that he's going to fit right in with everyone around CJ.
-
I'm glad the guys are all getting along with one another, I think CJ's dad's just like to have at least one other adult at the apartment when CJ goes because of what happened to him the previous year. Ethan seems to be turning out to be a good guy after his drunken attempt to get into Owen's pants while at a party. He apologized to CJ and Owen the very next morning, and he was threatened with 2 black eyes and a broken nose by Richie if ever tried to get between his brothers.
-
I'm sorry that CJ had to be the one who told his brother that his parents had died. I remember when my dad's mom was rushed to the hospital and the Dr's came to me being that I was the only relative that was here when she was admitted. My dad, aunt and uncle all lived out of state, anyway after my grandmother was admitted the Dr's came to me asking for permission to do exploratory surgery, I had to give it and she passed away 11 hours after she came out of surgery, I had to tell my dad and he called his brother and sister to tell them. My point is that that is one thing I don't wish on anyone. That was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do other than telling my oldest son that his mother had died during the night. I hope that I don't have to do that ever again, I hope CJ and Richie get some counseling for the grief they may have after this whole process. I hope that if their grandparents become unable to care for Richie that he go stay with CJ and his dad's.

CJ seems to bring out something positive in other people who are around him when he stands up for what he believes is right. Case in point the altercation at the school when everyone followed him out of the GSA meeting, Brad saw that CJ doesn't back down from a bully no matter what. Brad found out that their grandfather was going to pursue a lawsuit against Brad and Patrick's parents claiming that they were unfit and he wanted full custody of the boys. Brad put him in his place with very little help from CJ, Brad told his grandfather that if he filed the lawsuit that he would come back and make sure that the elder would have to have dna testing done just to make sure that it was his body that had been found. CJ is a great role model for those around him and he has the move to Washington DC to thank.
-
This was a well thought out chapter with the addition of Brad, Patrick, and Owen the gang has gotten a lot bigger than when CJ 1st started at Walls, even though Owen isn't in high school like the others he's still an intrigal part of the gang or should I say group of friends. I like the fact that CJ stood up to Janelle on behalf of Thiago and the military, I believe that he's right. What Janelle did went against what the GSA is supposed to be, it is the gay straight alliance and the coments made by her were totally out of bounds. I think CJ made it very clear that he wasn't going to stay in an organization that is biased against its members and co-chair, when he was told that if he didn't like the way she was going to conduct the meeting that he could leave, he left but so did everyone else. I have a feeling that CJ may face some trouble for his language, and I also don't think Janelle will be co-chair.
-
I know I did some stupid things when I was younger but I never thought about destroying something that belongs to someone else. Who knows what kind of trouble I would have been in had I done stuff like that. My oldest son is a convicted felon for the things that he thought were more important than doing what was right.
-
This one was emotional and funny as well, I hope the police catch whoever did the damage to the house and took everything out of it. I think it's ridiculous that people can do something like this and get away with it, most of the time. Whoever used the washing machine for a toilet should be made to take it home with them and clean up the mess they made of it, then they should buy a new one for the house.
-
I do believe that the road trip is just what CJ needed after his encounter in New York. It appears the guys are enjoying the early summer trip. I'm glad Harley was able to make the trip with CJ even if it's to visit Harleys grandparents in Wisconsin.
-
Another great chapter, I'm glad that Brett made a somewhat full recovery after the helicopter crash. I know he's still got a ways to go before he can say he made a full recovery. I'm liking the idea of making an advisory board so the boys could be involved in the family Foundation. I can't wait to read about CJ going back to new York.

That is a great dedication to the armed forces of our country. I want to say thank you for the dedication to our service men and women who have given so much to the service of this country. I also want to say that having one of the main characters in the story be a United States Marine, Captain Brett Davenport.
