That was a bad ending to the chapter. Brett needs to be alive even if he has some injuries. I'll read the next part of the story to find out what happens next.

This was a good chapter as it wasn't intense, I found it to be a good fit for the time of year it is. I'm glad that Richie was able to come for a weekend with CJ even if it was the idea of Aba, I know that Richie has been missing CJ a lot. I hope that they have a great time together as they never know when it'll happen again. Especially if the dickhead has anything to say about it, he sure doesn't like Brett and Ceaser that's for sure. I know he for sure doesn't want anything to do with CJ because he's such a homophobic ass, for being an officer in the United States Air Force he sure has a hatred for any gay airmen, after catching the runner that brought papers for the dickhead to sign and CJ kissing and then throwing CJ out like he did not caring what happened to CJ after that. I have an idea for the Davenport fund, why not set up a facility for gay teens who get thrown out into the streets so that they have a good safe place to live until their 21st birthday.

CJ's a very lucky young man, not only did he get to go to Australia for Christmas and New years, but he met a good looking blonde surfer dude like his dad. I hope that CJ doesn't have separation anxiety like Ceaser thinks he will, Brett told him that CJ has a good head on his shoulders and is very smart also, so he doesn't think it'll be an issue. It appears that all of the guys had a great time on their trip down under, especially CJ. It was very nice of JP's family to allow the group to be involved in their Christmas gathering, the different types of wine that was available and not only from JP's family Vineyard but the neighboring one as well. As Owen put it their family's wine is good but the neighboring one is a lot better. Great chapter, enjoyed it very much. Looking forward to more.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Butcher56 commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Papa Brett is going to have to learn when he gets upset with the way CJ is acting around another guy just keep an eye on the situation and let him fall a few times. Once CJ has fallen a few times he'll start learning not to leap before he looks, he's going to make a few mistakes along the way all you can do is let him know that you're there if he needs you. I don't know if anything will happen between Owen and CJ all I know is that papa Brett needs to keep his anger under control or it may be more than 2-3 days before CJ starts talking to him again. I hope Brett learned from his past mistake and will let CJ go on and see where it leads. I'm sure that Ceaser is doing his best to keep Brett under control, instead of just blowing up again before anything actually happens. -
I am glad to read that you did get to spend some time in Oz, after reading the first 2 stories I have been reading practically all the time. I have found that the characters in the story help bring it to life. Everyone CJ meets seem to take an instant liking to him. I'm looking forward to this part of the whole story and the trip down under.

I like CJ's idea of helping the children of the man who was driving the truck that caused the death of Adriano's wife and unborn son. The man tracked down Adriano and apologized for the accident and to offer his condolences in person. In the article Trip is writing it says that the man started driving a truck to be able to get his children a college education and that way they're not going to have to live in poverty anymore and they would be able to do what they want to do as far as a career. CJ's idea is to see if the foundation of Brett's would be able to give the kids a scholarship to attend college so their parents wouldn't have to worry about it and also if it would be possible to loan the man the money to buy the garage when his boss decides to retire. The man is a veteran of the army and that's one of the people who are helped by the foundation.

This was a tough one with Tommy getting shot and Adrien and his family who were on the way out of Washington DC for labor day and they were involved in a horrible traffic accident. Tommy is going to be alright, Adrian and his 2 children will be alright as well, but Adrian's wife and unborn son perish as a result of the accident. I pray that when everyone else finds out about the accident they'll be right there to help in any way they can.

I like your style of writing, the way you draw the characters together no matter what race, sexual orientation, or anything else. I have never laughed so much at a story the way I have with this one, I really like the jokes that are interspersed in the story and the way CJ, Ceaser, and Brett act around each other as well as the group of friends they have. It appears that the list of close friends is getting bigger by the week. I'm happy that Brett with his wealth isn't afraid to do something like set the happy couple of Charti & Helen find a nice place to live in the nation's capital. I'm glad that CJ has found a friend in Landon who is the brother of Charti. I'm looking forward to reading more about the group to see what they do next. I wanted to add that what CJ did for Elliott was pretty impressive since he knew when to stop fighting because of his martialarts training. That might be the best thing his stepfather ever did for CJ. Thanks for the laughs and the history lessons as well. I hope that one day I get to go and take my son to see what Washington DC has to offer for a first time visitor.

I'm always looking for ways to learn more, I'd like to know as much as I can.

I enjoyed reading the epilogue to the story, the proposal was long overdue for the guys, I liked reading about the plans for the wedding and that they wanted to keep it small. The idea to delay the honeymoon was a good idea as they were able to get better settled in their careers and then take the time for a great honeymoon in the U.K.. Then the idea of starting a school for boys that needed a better environment for learning as well as living a better life. Then after having a great success with the boys school they started a second campus in Pennsylvania and then moved in there and started a clinic for young people, as well as serving the needs of those who attend the school, this was Adam's area and Mike opened a small law office as well as served as the legal representative of the school and it's students. I was awed at the time of their deaths that they were remembered well for their sacrifices made to the children in need, and that the buildings now bear the names of the guys. Very very great story, I wish you had gone on with the story, maybe you could write another one to coincide with this one and tell about their time starting out and if the friendship with the Kritzers continues throughout this time and beyond. Maybe Jack will be gay after all. Thanks for the great story.

I have very much enjoyed the story from the beginning, at first I didn't know if I would like it, once I got into reading the first couple of chapters I was hooked and had to see where it would progress to. I have enjoyed reading about how Adam got his superpower as Mike says through meeting Jack and Megan and then Jim and Melinda the parents of the kids. During the 2 years that the families got together at the lake and becoming closer friends with the Kritzers, even with the incidents that happened the 2nd year they were at the lake. The fact that Jack had figured out that Mike and Adam were more than friends with each other, he figured out that they were boyfriends just by watching them. Then after they all got home and Jack sent Adam an email stating that he was itching in the groin area and he thought something was moving down there as well, Adam told him that he could do one of three things to clear it up. I feel like I'vegotten to know each of the people in the story from Adam and Mike and their parents to the Kritzers and the other people who were involved in one way or another. I really hope you continue with the story just so I know if the guys are able to live together and if their careers take off like they want. I would also like to see if the Kritzers make another appearance at some point and whether or not jack is straight, bi, or gay. Thanks for the story to this point.

People who have children in their homes for foster care are supposed to be monitored by the case workers as well as the state that the home is located in. The foster parents should be made sterile for doing what they are, the things they're doing to the young girls in their care is just stupid. For people who are running a foster home to do these things to the children they are responsible for is not just disgusting it's down right sickening. These people need to be locked up for many years and never be allowed to be around anyoneunder the age of 21 or else they go back to prison for life even though I feel like they should get that sentence in the 1st place. I hope that none of the girl have gotten pregnant by any of the boys or the foster dad.

Another Summer Comes to an End
Butcher56 commented on Bill W's story chapter in Another Summer Comes to an End
I hope everything works out for Jack and he doesn't have to say anything to his parents. Public lice or crabs is nothing to mess around with before getting it treated. Jack will have a lot more trouble if he has to tell his parents what happened with him and Megan that day in the woods around the lake. It may make Jim and Melinda to have second thoughts about the guys spending time with the kids. -
The incident at the water park only goes to show you how anything can happen at anytime, Megan got lucky to have the right people looking out for her welfare. Adam spotted the scratch on Megan's leg and knew that the girl under all of the garb was Megan and not the woman's granddaughter as she claimed. If it wasn't for the scratch Megan would have been sold off to someone who would use her to have sex with people who wouldn't care about her age. The lady admitted to Adam and the park security that by grabbing young kids, it doesn't matter if it's a boy or girl, they'll just be used for sex and that was it. I like how Jack and Megan wanted to have more contact with Adam and Mike before next summer when at Jack's suggestion that they all do the 2 week rental again next year. I think that even with these 2 incidents happened when Adam and Mike were watching them Jack and Megan still want to have it forgotten.

This was another cool chapter, I really like reading about the guys and Benny, the way they interact with each other is so much fun to read about. The crazy things that they do, Will couldn't believe it when Liam came back with pink and the drinks that was so funny the way he acted when he realized that it really was her standing there with Liam. Keep the fun coming, Liam & Will are such a great couple, the differences between them I believe are what draws them so much closer everytime they go somewhere or do something it's fun for them as well as those around them because everyone is involved with what is going on.

I have really enjoyed the story up to this chapter, I understand that kids are curious about the opposite sex, but what the 2 older boys were trying to do with Megan is not curiosity but a formof sexual assault. Both Paul and Don could have been arrested and charged with a felony for what they did. Especially if the police would have been called and found out that they pulled Megan's suit down and did what they did. That would have been the end of the friendship the 3 families have formed in just 2 years. I intend to keep reading to find out what if anything is said about the incident.

It appears that Adam and Mike and their families have found some new friends in the Kritzers, especially in the case of the kids Jack and Megan. The kids are getting closer to Adam and Mike each year. All 4 of them seemed to really enjoy making a day of fun at the amusement park, they all went on all of the rides even a few more than once.
-
It appears that Adam took what he found out the year before about Jack's mom having MS and not being able to get around much due to the fact that her wheelchair just wasn't able to go to the places the kids did. For example being at the lake and not being able to get down to the lake to watch your children swim or even going to the neighboring cabin to visit with the people there. I'm sure that she'll be able to get around more now that she has the new chair that Adam was able to get with donations from some of the wealthy donors to John's Hopkins University. I hope that I'll continue to hear more about the Kratzers in future chapters. I also want to say that I can relate to what Mr and Mrs Kratzer go through on a regular basis as I cared for my grandmother who had ALS as an after effect of a massive stroke. She was confined to a wheelchair as well and I took care of her for about 8 years before she passed away.

Another great chapter, Adam and Mike seem to be in the right place at the right time to be able to stop a criminal from committing a stupid crime or stopping the criminal right after they have committed the crime. Adam does a great job of not only stopping the criminal then getting them to admit to the police about the crime they committed. Also if needed getting someone to hold the suspect for the police without the suspect being hurt in the process. I understand why Adam wants to take the sites for help down while he attends classes as they are getting harder and taking more time.
-
Another great chapter, I like the idea of both families work with the homeless shelters in order to provide food and possibly even help serve the meal on Christmas, and then if they were able to get enough donations help serve the meal for new years eve and new years day as well. It makes them feel like they've done something for those who need it around the holidays. If Adam keeps doing his thing before the parents call for donations the next year they just might make enough money to buy dinners for both towns for the holidays, and possibly a bit more to get a few gifts for the children in these situations. I will be reading more.

Benny is a character in of itself, he seems to have energy that doesn't go away, he kind of reminds me of the energizer bunny. I believe Liam will make a great dad someday, between him and Will they'll make great dad's especially if Liam gets his wish of 5 Benny's and 5 Haley's. The story really gets better with each chapter you write. Keep up the good work I look forward to reading more as you put them out.

Another great chapter, it appears that just about everywhere the guys go something happens to get Adam to start using his ability to defuse the situation. Sometimes it works other times it takes a few attempts to get the message across. I hope the police didn't shoot the Korean for not understanding what he was being told. I'm going to continue to read this story to see what happens next.

I'm having such a great time reading this story it seems to livelier with each chapter. You have a very good way of keeping the readers engaged in the story, it reminds me of some novels I have read. Adam and Mike are having a good time teaching Jack and Megan to swim in the limited time they have at the lake, they also enjoyed taking the kids out in the canoes. I doubt that the boy that went out in the boat by himself will have anymore trouble from his dad like he did when he got back to shore that day.
-
I agree with Adam that the suggestion must only last for a short period of time. I believe he'll come up with an idea of how to get the guy to leave Lisa alone permanently so she could feel safe again. As always keep the story going especially when Adam uses his ability to help those who contact him through the different ways that Mike set up for this purpose.
-
Adam has a great idea for wanting to give back to those who are homeless by holding a party for them at Christmas time. I'm sure between the two of them they'll get it done without a whole lot of trouble. I also wouldn't mind having Adam's ability to be used for good, not to be used to intimidate anyone.
