Hi, Parker. Honestly, it wasn't too hard. The hardest sentence for me was this one: "So, now with no longer being your boss, it's okay for me to ask you out. What do you say?" I think i should have put 'me' in there.. Like: So, now with me no longer being your boss... But I really wanted to write, So, now that I'm no longer your boss... That was the stickiest spot for me. haha.. omg. We just had a delivery. Michael answered the door. The delivery guy was Jamaican .. i like that accent. He said to Michael. Did you play basketball? Michael said no and laughed. Then the delivery guy said I admire your height. Michael said, You can have some of it. LOL We have such great people who deliver stuff. I love talking to them and my Uber drivers. I took Uber often in the winter when i was still in the office. I met some amazing and interesting people that way. Okay.. sorry.. i'm sure i have something to do.. lol Maybe bake a cake...

Thanks, law. Yeah, i think we're all guilty of that when writing in 1st POV. This kind of writing exercise shows what's possible. It makes you think about other ways of doing things. i think you should just try it.. It makes you think about what you're writing, and that's not a bad thing. i read Ron's story five years ago and thought the same thing at that time. But why not just try, you don't have to publish it if you don't want. Or tell anyone, even. The little piece was started about midnight with no thought or planning. I wrote the first sentence and just wrote the rest organically. Just have some fun with it. Thanks for reading and your comments, A.

Danny wanted to meet with me. On Saturday, of all days. This could either be a good or bad meeting. It was difficult to tell based on how he sounded on the phone. Work hasn't been a playground lately, and it was exhausting to pretend all was well. It was pouring rain—of course—the morning of the 'get together' as Danny decided to call it. What to wear? There's a closet full of slim-fit suits that are flattering on my tall, skinny self. There are jeans that fit my long, colt-like legs.

omg... how can anyone look at this and think it's okay... oh man..

Mmm, no we are not shocked by this... the 'list' however was shocking.

It is huge. Peter used to brag to his pals that his Uncle had finished it. It's a great game. Lots of fun to play.

Michael has played some good, but scary games. i can't play them, they make me anxious. But I can watch Him play them. Alan Wake, Silent Hill, and Resident Evil. All scary. He's played some interesting ones. And some that just bore me to death, so i find something else to do and leave Him to it. He is a completionist and will play something until it is absolutely finished. Every box, every treasure, every side mission has to be done. I enjoyed Red Dead Redemption, Halo, and Skyrim (i completed everything in that..everything.. no small task).

I've played, but not for a long time now. Michael has played since he was a kid. He's played some excellent ones that had very well-written stories. One was so good, I said He couldn't play it unless i was home. It was like a film. It was so good. Lots of them are not.

It's good if you don't eat a lot of salt. I've learned so much since Michael got diabetes and me now with kidney problems. Too much salt, protein and sugar can affect the kidneys and diabetics in a number of ways. As can processed meats and other processed foods. We eat pretty simple foods now. We don't have a lot of sauces or marinades. If we buy something, it's a low sodium option and then we're careful with it. Yay, for fresh ground pepper! The docs think the headaches are a side effect of ART possibly. Could be worse. I'm just glad I can do what i need to since i'm not working anymore. I've taken some tylenol today, which is about the only otc pain killer i can take safely with kidney disease. It's a huge juggling act these days. lol Yeah, it's a shame the reason the dog is here. Her mom is 89 and has a number of health issues. It's no hardship to look after the pup. He's 12 now and sleeps a lot. But he has his bouncy moments... lol. xoxox

There's too much sodium in most of them. And i like these cuz they are sweet but just barely, which is great. i like the cooler weather, though i've been having nasty headaches for the past few days. We have the dog with us now because his owner's mum is ill and in hospital. So, that keeps us, well, not super busy but more active I guess. I'm so glad it's cooler.
