    As a matter of fact, I do have a bit of French blood in my genealogy. 1/8th or 1/16th, I think. But I've never made macarons before.

    Things are going well, thanks. Max and Colton were excited to return to school. They couldn't wait to hang out with their friends again. On Sunday, I made espresso brownie sandwiches with coffee buttercream, topped with chocolate ganache. I also did some de-cluttering around the house. Various books, clothes and sundry items have been placed in boxes for donation to charity.

    I wasn't expecting to see my name on any lists, but the Cozy Fantasy genre is one of my favorites. I'm still working on "Tales of Yalda" in the background, fleshing out some more characters, building details for another story arc.
