    Moon Dumplings

This is a very good story. I have a similar recipe, called Hujiao Bing, or Pepper Balls. Unlike the dumplings, which are usually fried or steamed, Hujiao Bing are baked, usually by sticking them to the sides of a special kiln. More conventionally, a cookie sheet in an oven will suffice. Because of the heavy amount of black and white pepper, they're the perfect food to warm up when it's chilly outside.

    Mark Weber!

@Cole Matthews Thank you for sharing your friends with us. I'm so sorry for your loss, but at least you have the fond memories to remember them by. They sound like really funny blokes, and I wish I could've met them.
  4. Same here. I've gotten used to missing people, though.
  5. Poor Dugh. Please feel better soon. I hope Mum and Thistle are doing well.
  6. Hey, Albert. How are you and Steve?
  7. Awww, thanks! Hey, Clo. Hey, Buckie. Hey, Val. How are things in Valhalla?

    O Holy Night

Brussels sprouts with bacon, balsamic vinegar, garlic, and onion are a favorite of mine. I'll definitely have to try it with pecans.
  9. We're all doing well, thanks.
  10. Hey, Xander, Dennis, Jordan, and Ash! *waves to the foster kids*
  11. Hey, Bertie. Sounds like a good idea. On NCIS, Agent Bishop once mentioned that she likes to put her PJs in the dryer before going to bed, so they're nice and warm when she puts them on. And, hot chocolate? *gets on a flight to France*
  12. I legit just found this one on my Kindle ebook recommendations. The author sounded familiar, so I came here. Then I found this page bookmarked.
  13. Hey, Cassie, my lovely queen!
  14. I meant that I don't want to serve two kinds of cookies that are too similar to each other, simultaneously.
  15. @Comicality Some new pics of Ruel for you.
  16. These sound tasty, but I think the lemon peel in this recipe would make the cookies too similar to the lemon-rosemary cookies I already made. Oh, well. Mickey says that his next-door neighbor recently lost his dad, so I think maybe we'll get some supplies and bake a few treats to spread some joy this season.
  17. That reminds me, I should make Guinness brownies with Bailey's Irish Cream frosting for Christmas!
  18. I love hearing about the relationship you have with your nephew. He sounds cute. Hey, Bumble B. Hey, Gary. Hey, Bertie. Bad Gary! Bad, bad Gary!

    Chapter 13

I can relate to Jack in the second part of this chapter, at least. It can be tough when you're attracted to more than one person. So why not choose both? In Junior year, these twin brothers started fighting over me after I started dating one of them. I was absolutely gobsmacked when he offered me to his brother, to share. Too gobsmacked to say no. But, the arrangement didn't last long. Only for the two-and-a-half months of summer vacation. On another note, I hope we get to see Tracy's big performance onstage before the story is over. I look forward to what happens next.

    Amuse Buche

I've made weenies with grape jelly and barbecue sauce. Chili sauce, in my opinion, is too tomato-y. Now, meatballs, on the other hand, I prefer to make from scratch and serve with marinara sauce, along with sub rolls and provolone cheese for a sandwich platter. I'll definitely be putting out one or another of these for Christmas. Or maybe New Year's Eve.

My grandma makes a rolled pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting that's more cream cheese than frosting. I love that delicious, sweet tang so much. I'm definitely going to get that recipe the next time I see her.
  22. Hey, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. *scratches Thistle behind the ears*
  23. Hey, Albert. Hey, Gary.

    Sweet Men

Good thing you can buy them so cheap from Duncan Hines.
  25. Hey, Bert. How's Ernie?
