  1. Yeah, they're going to spend a couple of nights in Charlevoix. Grant and Haley are peaceable little guys, but very high-maintenance.
  2. We had grilled cheese sandwiches and fried you-know-whats. Morgan is watching TV, and Mickey and Remy are busy entertaining the nephews, whom Deirdre brought over to spend the weekend. I don't mind, since I love both of the little tykes. Glad that everyone is getting along so well.
  3. Which one of us are you talking to?
  4. Peanut butter and Jelly bars are cooling on the kitchen counter now.
  5. Hey, Bob. I'm just glad you're here to laugh about it now. Hey, Bertie. How are you and Steve? Good thing you didn't say "teabags" or you'd never hear the end of it from this lot.
  6. Hey, Xander, Dennis, Jordan, and Ash! *waves to the other kids* Any new developments, Xander? Hey, Marty. It's raining again today here in Traverse City.
  7. Booboo Stewart...no matter what he does, he always makes me smile.
  8. I feel your pain. Pulled in so many directions at once...
  9. Oh! Mickey and Remy told me a story about their adventure. When they started their journey in the kayaks, the beach was deserted. When they returned to the area they'd launched from, there was a family camped out on a blanket. A mom and two boys. So, Mickey and Remy had to cover themselves as they left the water, which was awkward and totally obvious. There were a few brief moments of exposure as they jumped from the kayaks into the water, then stood up while holding the watercraft in front of their private bits. The older boy from the family sitting on the beach, about ten years old, tried to copy them by taking off his swimsuit, but he got "Gibbs-slapped" by his mom after untying the drawstring on his trunks. She said something to her son, but was trying too hard to NOT look at Mickey and Remy as they lugged their kayaks back to the car.
  10. No, Mickey and Remy were just kayaking. They put their clothes back on in the car, before leaving. And now you've piqued my curiosity.
  11. Trying to get some writing done for my Saugatuck story.
  12. Well, Mickey and Remy are back from kayaking at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Or, should I say Bare Dunes? They were kayaking nekkid. 😀
  13. We're doing well. Strawberry gazpacho and green salad for dinner tonight.
  14. Hey, Albert. How are you and Steve?
  15. Hey, Albert. How are you and Steve? Hey, Bob. Drew needs to learn how to be better-behaved.
  16. Afternoon, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. *scratches Thistle behind the ears* The sky is a bit cloudy, but still sunny in some spots. It doesn't seem to be threatening rain. Hey, Clo.
  17. Hey, Cassie! Grant is only a year old, but he seems to enjoy interacting with his new brother. I'd love to have kids someday, but not babies. Too messy. Maybe we'll adopt some older kids, like you and Dennis did.
  18. Hey, Curtipie! Morgan and I are doing well. And we've missed you quite a bit!
  19. Hehehe. I love Grant and Haley. They're both cute babies. I just wish I could see my nephews more often. I love Mickey and Remy too, pains in the ass though they can be.
  20. Hey, Bob. Please tell me Peter Pan looks like Jeremy Sumpter. Hey, Marty. It's raining again. Summer in Northwestern Michigan is unseasonably wet this year. Dang, Bertie. That sounds awesome. We're having bacon-and-peas risotto. I love one-pot meals.
  21. Hey, Albert. @Headstall Take a lesson, Gary.
  22. Hey, Xander, Dennis, Jordan, and Ash! OMG, Dugh! How are Mum and Thistle? Hey, Tea Bat. Have fun with your new toys.
  23. for her. Best wishes for a quick recovery.
