  1. Hey, Curtipie! Morgan and I are doing well. And we've missed you quite a bit!
  2. Hehehe. I love Grant and Haley. They're both cute babies. I just wish I could see my nephews more often. I love Mickey and Remy too, pains in the ass though they can be.
  3. Hey, Bob. Please tell me Peter Pan looks like Jeremy Sumpter. Hey, Marty. It's raining again. Summer in Northwestern Michigan is unseasonably wet this year. Dang, Bertie. That sounds awesome. We're having bacon-and-peas risotto. I love one-pot meals.
  4. Hey, Albert. @Headstall Take a lesson, Gary.
  5. Hey, Xander, Dennis, Jordan, and Ash! OMG, Dugh! How are Mum and Thistle? Hey, Tea Bat. Have fun with your new toys.
  6. for her. Best wishes for a quick recovery.
  7. Dinner tonight was bacon cheeseburgers, sweet potato fries, and chocolate milkshakes made with Guinness-infused ice cream. I'll send you the leftovers, shall I?
  8. Hey, Hawk. Hey, Bobber. How are the boys? OMG, Marty! Hey, buddy.
  9. Alex in Wonderland, by Simon James Green In the town of Newsands, painfully shy Alex is abandoned by his two best friends for the summer. But he unexpectedly lands a part-time job at Wonderland, a run-down amusement arcade on the seafront, where he gets to know the other teen misfits who work there. Alex starts to come out of his shell, and even starts to develop feelings for co-worker Ben... who, as Alex's bad luck would have it, has a girlfriend. Then as debtors close in on Wonderland and mysterious, threatening notes start to appear, Alex and his new friends take it on themselves to save their declining employer. But, like everything in Wonderland, nothing is quite what it seems...
  10. Hey, Xander, Dennis, Jordan, and Ash! And hello to the other kids! *waves* Afternoon, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. *scratches for the wee pup*
  11. You're talking crazy, Bob!
  12. Awww, thanks! But the sky has already cleared up now.
  13. Hey, Marty. Hey, Bob. *sends food to Bob's hospital room* Hey, Gary. Be well, sweetie. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. It was gray and drizzly this morning, but the sky was clear blue and sunny when I left work. Hey, Albert. Don't be surprised if you find that Elmer Fudd is your uncle.
  14. That song is in the traditional style of Ainu folk singers. This one is female, but she's a favorite of mine. ;~)
  15. Sorry, Bob. We'll try to be more sensitive to your situation. The plastic container from a Stouffer's frozen entree would be more appetizing than anything a hospital can dish out.
  16. Hey, Drew. Sorry I missed you. Inclement weather shut down the WiFi for quite a while.
  17. How are you feeling today, Bob? A cashew or macadamia?
  18. No, I haven't done it. Xander's question made me think, a bit.
  19. Lyrics and translations are available in the spoiler.
  20. I only said "if" because I'm not aware of any policies in the park regarding nudity. I guess a visitor would have to ask the rangers, since their website doesn't mention it.
  21. Fortunately for us, no. Not when it's right downtown, off of US-31. Now, if they'd gone to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, that might have been a different story. It's more secluded up there, so even if the National Park doesn't allow nudity, there's a chance they might get away with it. 😀 Not that I'm encouraging them.
