Omigod, Comsie! Do you know how long I've waited for a "beach trip" story from you?! I wish this could have been longer. Maybe not as long as Billy Chase, but a story-length like "2 Below" would have been nice. I love stories about summer, vacations, and beaches. This is so CUTE!

Hey, Marty. I worked a full five hours today, despite the fact that today is a holiday here in the U.S. That's what I get for choosing a career in food service. We're having BBQ ribs, Bavarian potato salad, and roasted green beans for dinner tonight. Watermelon-mint Granita for dessert.

Morgan and I are fine. Mickey and Remy are out with their friends, but they should be back in time for marshmallows. We had grilled Italian sausages and corn on the cob.

I've heard of mango-chili popsicles, but jalapeño....hmmmm.

Hey, Xander, Dennis, Jordan, and Ash! And hello to the other kids. It's 65 F/ 18 C right now, with 52% humidity, and a wind speed of 5 mph coming from the north. No clouds in the sky, and the sun is very bright, but the wind is pleasantly breezy. We're going to make a bonfire in about 25, maybe 30 minutes. First S'mores of the season!

I'm doing well. I should probably go to bed soon, but it's the weekend. After I wake up, I hope to get some writing done.
