  1. Hey, Bertie.
  2. Hey, Clo. Morning, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. *scratches for Thistle* Hey, Buckie. Hey, Thorn.
  3. Thank you! Hey, Drew.
  4. We had a patch of blue sky yesterday.
  5. I had an idea for a story. A young man orders a pizza because his parents are busy working, and he's too lazy to cook anything himself. The delivery person is a cute guy from his Junior-year Biology class. The weather takes a turn for the worse on the drive to the house, so the delivery boy calls his manager to say he's staying at the house until the storm clears. Shenanigans ensue.
  6. He makes me want to write fan fiction. No, no, not that kind of fan fiction! Get your head out of the gutter! I meant, writing about all of the cool stuff he does. Dirt-biking with his dad's buddy, Wes? Swimming with giant manta rays? Photographing Africa's "Big Five" dangerous animals? How AWESOME is that?! I love that parrot with the red-and-blue coloring. Seriously, that's just AMAZING!
  7. Yup. We had grilled cheese sandwiches and fried pickle chips for lunch. Mickey came over to spend the day with us.
  8. Afternoon, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. *scratches Thistle behind the ears* Hey, Thorn. Hey, Clo. Hey, Albert.
  9. Like everyone in the Irwin family, Robert has a big heart for the animals under his care. Though, I noticed on the TV show that he seems to gravitate towards the less cuddly creatures such as crocodiles and *shudder* tarantulas. I guess it's because he's a boy?
  10. Hey, Hunter!
  11. Poor Drewbear. Kitties would never eat you. You're too salty.
  12. I don't remember who said it, but I remember someone recently mentioned a niece who decided to stop eating meat that doesn't come from a can, because "it's not nice to hurt animals".
  13. There's dried juniper berries available on Amazon. Thought about getting some, but I need a recipe first.
  14. It's very good. Ahhh, like Maxbauer's Market, I imagine.
  15. Hey, Xander, Dennis, Jordan, and Ash! I was rereading a book today that made me think of you, Xander. The Art of Being Normal, by Lisa Williamson. Two kids, a boy and a girl, become friends when they discover that they're both transgender.
  16. If you couldn't find the story, here's the link.
  17. Good thing I don't eat venison.
  18. It wasn't that long ago that I was a kid in high school, and I used to get very jealous when I saw my boyfriend flirting with someone else. Especially after Boyfriend #2 crushed my heart. I learned to relax a bit more and let things take their course after breaking up with Boyfriend #3. He was a true monster in every regard, a total control-freak. I resolved to never let myself become like him. As a result, I don't normally get jealous with my husband. He sometimes goes out after work to have a drink or two with his coworkers, but always comes home in time for dinner. He's allowed to have fun, of course. Everyone is. But I get a little protective if we're at a party and I think someone is moving in on my guy. Hands off! Mine! I guess the rules change a bit when you're married. A little bit of jealousy is okay, just to remind people that your partner is already taken, but you don't have to worry too much. After all, he/she said yes to you, not the other guy.
  19. Hey, Randy! How are Mark and Josh?
  20. Actually, Antarctica is considered a desert, because it has very low levels of rainfall. (166 - 200 mm per year.) Hey, Clo. Tea and cake? Lucky!
