    Chapter 14

The way to a boy's heart is through his stomach...or points south. Greek food is delicious, so I'm sure that Shane is in for a treat!
  2. Kill or Be Killed (2004) 13 minutes long. After two young companions quickly go from friends to experimentation, one betrays the other by public humiliation, and is met with worse retaliation. After tempers have cooled, they find themselves having to make a choice. Camp Out (2006) 78 minutes. A documentary about 10 LGBTQ+ kids attending the first-ever Christian camp with a pro-acceptance attitude. Hineini: Coming Out in a Jewish High School (2005) An hour-long documentary about a teen boy's push to form a GSA at his all-Jewish school. Marilyn (2018) A 79-minute drama about an Argentinean boy named Marcos, mockingly nicknamed Marilyn. He struggles to avoid the lustful desires of others, as well as discrimination. My Life on Ice (2002) 102 minutes. A French film about a 16-year-old boy who dreams of becoming a champion ice skater....when he's not thinking about his handsome geography teacher.
  3. If anyone wants to know, the original thread has been restored to "open" status.
  4. Hey, Drewbear! So, what are these "Terms and Conditions"?
  5. Semi-sweet chocolate is most commonly used when you want something to melt, such as ice cream topping or biscuits, but I reserve dark chocolate for baking.
  6. Chocolate by itself would be too sweet, in my opinion. Cream cheese (like Neufchatel, but softer) makes a nice contrast with the tanginess. After dinner, I made a toasted sandwich with cream cheese and chocolate chips. I knew that it would be very creamy, so I added some Provolone cheese to help it stick together without "slippage". It was very good.
  7. I mean, you didn't use anything like creme fraiche or Neufchatel cheese? If there's no cheese, then it's just chocolate melted onto toast. Pain au Chocolate, in other words.
  8. Then where's the cheese?
  9. We made the coleslaw last night, and I made the tortilla dough this morning. That chocolate grilled cheese sounds interesting.
  10. Sleep well Thorn.
  11. We're having beef tacos with carrot-jicama coleslaw. Cilantro lime rice on the side. And we even made Masa tortillas, cooked on the grill!
  12. Found this last night. It's a clip from Ugly Betty, Season Four, apparently. Now I need to find that show.
  13. Yup, everything is fine.
  14. @Drew Espinosa Don't listen to Gary. You're the perfect height for cuddling.
  15. *puts on a helmet* Incoming....
  16. Afternoon, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. *scratches Thistle behind the ears* Hey, Thorn. Hey, Marty! Hey, Tim. Hey, Val. Hey, Gary. Hey, Spikey.
  17. Such a smart little guy. It's the accents, I tell ya!
  18. Okay. I'm ashamed to say, Ugly Betty was never a blip on my radar. Until I saw this clip. Gaaah! So CUTE!
  19. It goes well. Lay's Potato Chips released a couple of those fan-suggested flavors again, so of course, I had to get some at the grocery store today. I should mention that Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will all be busy this week, hence the schedule change.
  20. I found a similar one on the right side of my head, above the sideburns. I'm only 25. Hey, Bobber and company. Hey, Curti! Happy Sunday. How's it going?
  21. No, this sounds more like Drew: "FAKE NEWS!" *nukes everything*
  22. I'm doing very well today, thank you both.
  23. They have this book at my local library. I try to treat Mickey more like "one of the dudes" instead of a son. But I also have to remember that someone must be legally responsible for him when he visits. As I recall, there's a segment about female role models, as well as a chapter about "body issues" for older girls. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/36044534-the-ultimate-guide-for-gay-dads
  24. Hey, Randy, you sexy Greek god!
