  1. Yeah, it's a good series.
  2. Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly. I hope you feel well soon. We're doing great here. We had Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes for dinner, and now we're watching Percy Jackson and the Olympians on Disney+.
  3. Hey, Nicky! How are you?
  4. Hey, Dugh and Mum! I hope all is well.
  5. Hey, Boom Boom.
  6. Sounds like a good day for soup.
  7. A lovely cover by Cormac Thompson. @JeffsFort Also, here's a picture of Cormac sitting with Jacob Tremblay at summer camp in Washington.
  8. Well! It seems the poltergeist has decided to be helpful, for once! 😁 After dinner tonight, I found some clothes tumbling in the washer, which I usually do on Tuesdays. I also found the dishes from tonight's dinner had been returned to the cupboard after drying.
  9. Just a reminder, Nick: it goes in the arm, not the bum.
  10. @clochette I found a cake for Drew.
  11. @Albert1434 Happy Birthday, buddy!
  12. She was dishonest, I called her out for it, and now she retaliates by having a third party do the dirty work for her. It's a page taken directly from the Drewth playbook.
  13. Eggs, bacon, and fresh bread served with butter and honey. Maybe some PO-tay-toes on the side.
  14. The menu for Uncle Mickey and Uncle Remy's wedding. Starters: Roasted tomato soup with basil and aromatic oils Bread basket (Lembas bread, seed cake, walnut bread from The Prancing Pony) with herbed butter Main Course: Roast turkey with thyme jus Beef sirloin with red wine sauce Seafood pie with sauteed new potato topping Orzo pasta with plum tomato sauce and roasted vegetables Sides: Baby leaf salad with croutons Baked fingerling potatoes Roasted root vegetables with sea salt and fresh rosemary Desserts: Wedding cake Cookies Mincemeat pies (perfect for two young Hobbits---otherwise known as my nephews---to sneak a few before the buffet is officially opened) Poached pears with Armagnac and mixed nuts
  15. Creative editing? You're becoming more like Drew every day.
  16. Hey, Bertie! Happy almost-Birthday!
  17. I will never stop calling it Twitter, just to annoy the Musky One.
  18. Actually, I know exactly what Spike wanted me to say: Clo, stop perving out. (And I think you proved poor Spikey's point with that obviously fabricated missive.)
  19. One paragraph is not 'forty posts'. But, now that you mention it....
  20. A typical night of Spike and Drew's antics.
  21. Hey, Boom Boom. How are Yayo, Stella and the other cats?
  22. Uncle Mickey and Uncle Remy had The Lord of the Rings as the theme for their wedding. It fit rather nicely with the Fall season, and lent some elegance to the occasion. I must say, when I first sat down to discuss the wedding plans with them, I was taken by surprise. Remy is pretty deep into The Lord of Rings, but with Mickey, the interest is more casual. I had to ask some hard questions first, just to confirm that it was actually what they both wanted. I'd have hated for Mickey and Remy to find themselves in that situation where one partner says "I want this thing and that thing, and this thing over here..." Meanwhile, the other partner just says, "Whatever you want; if you're happy, then I'm happy." After all, marriage shouldn't be one-sided; it's about compromise. But, they both agreed, it's indeed what they wanted, and it turned out beautifully.
  23. Hey, Nicky! And yes, Uncle Mickey is married now. Yesterday was soooo busy! I couldn't find time to make the announcement earlier, and then when we arrived home, I just needed a break from everything.
  24. Hey, Terry! Sorry I missed you, but hopefully we can catch up soon!
