Yeah, there's a production of The Nutcracker that Max and his ballet group will be participating in on the 18th. I can't wait to see it!
As for Frankenmuth, that trip was fun, but I don't think we'd be able to do it again this year. It would probably mean staying overnight in a hotel, and things are already so busy with Max's performance, and getting the house ready for the holiday. Maybe next year.
I've been busy with holiday shopping! I also baked several kinds of cookies. (Pecan pie squares, Springerle, and gingerbread) After the dishes from baking were washed and dried, I went to pick up Max from school. Then we made dinner together after getting home; it's tortellini soup. Now, we're off to the grocery store.
Gotta bulk up some muscle, first. I think Santa might be bringing some dumbbells and protein shake powder for Christmas this year.
I kid, I kid. What kid wants protein powder in their stocking? Though, the dumbbells may not be a bad idea. Some adventure books, a wristwatch, maybe even a few movies, and he'll be one happy guy.
Doing well, thanks. Max's ballet group will be participating in a performance of The Nutcracker before they break for the Christmas holiday. No leading role for my guy, though. He's only just started lift training.
