  1. Things are good at the moment. I just finished prepping some stuff for dinner. Earlier, I also did the laundry.
  2. So, now you're Benjamin Button?
  3. The poltergeist struck again. I left work, picked up my son from school, and came home. I then decided to do a bit of cleaning before dinner. When I lifted the skirting on the sofa in the living room to dust underneath it, that's how I discovered the poltergeist had absconded with a dinner plate. Whether the plate was from today's breakfast, yesterday's dinner, or possibly even older, I couldn't begin to guess. There wasn't any nastiness on the surface, thank goodness. The strange bit is, we generally eat at the table in this household, rather than sitting in front of the TV, so I'm truly stumped as to how that plate found its way under the sofa.
  4. Both sides of the tissue were used. It's not the end of the world, and when you work in a restaurant, you see people leave worse things on their plates.
  5. I keep hearing some disembodied sniffles, and the poltergeist has a habit of leaving tissues in random places around the house. The contents appear more booger-ish in nature.
  6. Enjoy your reading, Craig.
  7. For @Jeff Burton's benefit, "Phi" means 'Elder' in the Thai language, while "Nong" means 'Junior'. Spike is older than Drew, and Drew insists that he will never grow older past his 30th birthday, like a vampire or something. Despite this, Drew claims that he is Spikey's "Phi", and will always outrank Spikey. Delusional contradictions like this are common with Drew.
  8. Yeah, apparently the poltergeist has some allergies this Fall season.
  9. I'm pretty sure my family has one at ours. A little list of things the poltergeist has done: Moved my son's shoes from the mud room to the front door, while tracking dirt on the freshly mopped kitchen floor Emptied the contents of several packages in the "snacks cupboard", and left said packages sitting on the shelves Left a large pile of used tissues spilling over the top of the waste bin in my son's room Moved my son's ballet outfit from the laundry hamper, to be trailed through the hallway enroute to the bathroom I know that my son would never engage in any of these behaviors. So, the only explanation I can think of, is that it must be the work of a friendly—but increasingly irksome—poltergeist. Anyone else having poltergeist problems at their house?
  10. @Drew Espinosa You already forgot that you said this? Tsk, tsk.
  11. Happy Birthday, Froggy!
  12. Hey, Nicky! Glad to have you back!
  13. For @clochette
  14. @Jeff Burton My humblest apologies for your notifications. Just a typical evening for Drew and Spike.
  15. Sorry, Spikey, you know I'm teasing. I saw the opportunity, and I just had to go for it.
  16. You guys....Drew just admitted that he and Spike are a couple!! (Like we didn't already know, but now, this PROVES IT!)
  17. @Drew Espinosa and @spike382 Season 3 of Heartstopper premieres today! Also, Joe and Kit should NOT have been on the same team.
  18. I remember seeing this one several years ago. It wasn't long after Max came to live with us. I was thinking all throughout the movie, "Why didn't the dude go to see an actual physiotherapist?" Though, I think a young actor named Nolen Dubuc may have been an influence on Max's decision to take up ballet, so I can't complain too much. I have mixed feelings about foxes. I mean, they're incredible animals, but when you hear those screams at 4:00 in the morning....
  19. Let's not forget Halloween and Thanksgiving. At least for the US and Canada. 👀
  20. I agree, Terry. We all know Drew is full of 💩
  21. Hey, Gary. I can smell it, too, no matter what Bucket says. It rained this morning, and the sky is mostly cloudy and gray. The air is cool, but there's a few pockets of sunny warmth piercing the veil.
