Woke up earlier this morning to blueberry pancakes, oven-cooked bacon, and eggs-in-toast, prepared by Max. I was a touch nervous when I found out, since he had no adult supervision at all. But, one taste of the pancakes, and my fears were assuaged. All of the dishes were stowed in the washer when I came downstairs, and the countertops/work areas were wiped clean.
Hey, Terry! I spotted an Indigo Bunting in the backyard this morning. Although the habitat range includes Michigan, they're quite rare. Only around 8 - 10 individuals are sighted in Michigan each year.
The beef noodles were another request from Max, after reading a book titled Zachary Ying and the Dragon Emperor. The noodles are indeed delicious. We're doing very well at the moment. Max is looking forward to another ballet Intensive this summer, followed by some relaxation at the beach.
