  1. Morgan and I had Nashville Hot Chicken for dinner, with homemade pickles and potato buns. It's one of Max's favorite meals, but sadly, he's not here to partake. He's at ballet camp right now.
  2. Yeah, my "thruples" period was....fun, at the time, but it definitely wasn't meant to last.
  3. @bignick Hey, buddy. Miss you.
  4. Hey, Dugh and Mum.
  5. I don't drink wine at all, so I can at least spare you the indignity.
  6. I like hearing stories about a good mattress. 👀
  7. "Accidental Demons", by Clare Edge. It won't be available until September 17th, but I'm already anticipating the read. It's a middle grade story, tagged as LGBT on Goodreads. As if a recent diagnosis of diabetes wasn't difficult enough, Bernadette has a problem: she's also a witch-in-training. Now, every time she pricks her finger to test her blood sugar, she accidentally summons a low-level demon. Fortunately, her sister, Maeve, is there to help her clean up the aftermath. But, when their plan to use a demon as a blood sugar monitor goes awry, the consequences could shake the magical world to its foundations....
  8. I'm not sure if what happened with the twins can be called 'dating'. It was more like 'friends with benefits'. It was a long time ago. 🤷‍♂️
  9. Nah. Morgan went into culinary studies, and Uncle Mickey is the musical one in the family. I had one boyfriend in middle school, and two or three boyfriends in high school. I haven't seen or spoken to any of them in over a decade.
  10. But how would Songkran work out? Neither Morgan or I get sick easily, so a little splash of water wouldn't put us down like it seems to do with so many Thai/Japanese characters. (It's pretty prevalent in anime, too.)
  11. It. 👏 Was. 👏 A. 👏 Team. 👏 Effort! 👏
  12. Brits invented manners, dear. Something you obviously know nothing about.
  13. Okay, I have to admit that I cried a little, watching this video. As a parent to a dance kid, my heart swelled with pride for these wonderful boys. 💖
  14. Nor have I, but I imagine it's somewhat akin to the alligators of NYC.
  15. That show is so underrated.
  16. I hope you have more than just a snack. Be sure to eat a good meal.
  17. If memory serves me correctly, there were Dwarves, Elves, Humans, and a Maiar/Wizard involved in the journey. It wasn't just Sam and Frodo who saved everyone; As Craig said, it was a team effort.
  18. This is as close as I could find to "You can go shave your hairy Hobbit feet now."
  19. I remember seeing a film called Flyboys, which takes place during the first war. Before America officially entered the war, a number of men volunteered themselves for the French Air Service.
  20. Hey, Craig. I'm well aware of European viewpoints on American involvement in WWII. Which is why you'll never see me lord it over any of my friends across the pond.
  21. At least we know to leave snails in the garden where they belong, instead of putting them on our dinner plates.
