    The Winter Queen is so often cast as a humorless, cold, evil, manipulative bitch that I've never really seen her as. In my mind she is cool, gets her way with subtle actions, and has a wicked sense of humor. It's that blonde hair tanned chipper witch from Summer that you should really look out for. Things might not go as planned, but everything will probably work out in the end, right? I mean this is a story and everyone gets a happily ever after right? We have fairies so I guess it is a fairy tale. Sorry, no. Wrong fairies

    The Beta Chapter 4-Preparing for the Fight Xak was sitting at a table talking with Toby in Nicolas’ library when the phone in front of them rang at midnight on the dot. Toby answered the phone.     Gary- Thank you so much for the positive words. I know there's been a lot to digest so far, but as far new characters go...not till the next book. I dropped hints about Nicolas in the other chapters. When Nicholas was in control Richard was Mon Cher, when Nicolas was in control it was Richard my love. That origin story is one that I've been working on for about 16 years in my head...The next chapter will hopefully be coming within a weekish...and this was the last of the convoluted twisty plots chapters for this book Jay

    Gary has the right idea, they need to be together. However, the puzzle isn't quite finished yet. There are maybe one or two pieces missing until they are complete.     The Beta Chapter 1- Discoveries Xak was sitting on the edge of the couch in the man he and his friends called Pawpaw, aka Alpha Richard’s, office; his knees bouncing up and down, giving off an unmistakable air of extreme nervousness.
