Great job as always Gary. I think Tilly is going to be great for Logan. She's a strong person that will keep him in check, since I have to feeling that Logan's not going to know what to do now that there's not a constant noise in his head driving him beyond the brink.

The Pledge had some awesome editors! hehehe. I enjoyed reading this story. You have a great talent at getting your character's personalities as well as the plot with out going into pages and pages of details. You are an amazing writer. What Dr. Reilly did to Billy was equal parts clever and sneaky. That dream with Dustin is what bothers me the most right now. I can't imagine Dustin ever acting like that. It's not in his character to do something like that, he cares about everyone in his life too much to do that. (That's why I'm glad it was a dream Dustin that did that and the real one) I mean hell he even cares about his bitch of a sister and his dad and they treat him like he's an amoeba living inside the dogshit on the bottom of their shoes. I totally understand why Billy didn't want to see his dad. In BIlly's mind, his dad is strong, and even though Billy wishes it were different, lives his life on his terms. (ie his dad not taking care of himself and his diabetes) If Billy were to see his dad hooked up to a bunch of machines, it would destroy the image of his father even more than the fight did. In May of 2009, my grandmother passed away...oops sorry Angelo, she died. That day my grandfather went into the hospital for a week. By September, he was at home in bed and died while in a coma he had been in for almost a month. He spoiled my grandmother her entire life. (She's the one who taught me how to be a real bitch when someone pisses me off hehehe) This chapter brought them back for me a bit. And yeah, don't piss Kathy off

well....i hate to say this but Tony hit the nail on the head....I'm all about being yourself and being honest and true, but there's a point where being yourself can become an act and then that act can get out of control and people can push limits too far.

It's almost like just when everything looks like it might get better for Cory, life shits on him again. At least he has family and friends to help him through.

I had a feeling that he would end up being Wally's saving grace (in more ways than one). Wally has grown so much, and I think he wants to keep a hold on the possible new life he's beginning.

All 3 boys need some sort of rehab. One emotional (Dustin) one psychological (Billy) and one physical (Brett). Great ending. That-a-way to leave us hanging. Looking forward to the next installment. Jay

Thank you Gary. I tried to not make Robert the bad guy (except through TJ's eyes) and poor Joshy is just stuck in the middle.

Him and Robert both have some issues to work out. Robert is expecting to walk in and all of a sudden play daddy and TJ is like oh hell no. Josh is trying to keep both his dad and his brother/best friend/uncle person both happy. Not an easy task for a sixteen year old

Emotions ran high in this chapter as far as TJ is concerned. Josh seems to be holding everything together so far, but he did just lose his grandparents, and where is Mel?

It not going to be a smooth road ahead for TJ, that's for sure, but it's going to teach him what family is and what happiness is.
