Armand has painted two works that enchanted the recipients--Christen's wife and Nonna. They are fondly memorialized. Progress--David met Zhiv in the forest and they are getting along great. Many now friendly animals are around. Zhiv says he has lots to tell David. They are both very happy and naked. River's brother received a costly spending ticket from David's dad. River is told by his dad to spy on David and find out if he pushed his dad to give the tickets I can see a confrontation coming. River's brother almost ran David off the road while speeding. River's dad wants to ask the Sheriff to cancel the tickets due to David's supposed interference. River is to get the evidence. River sexually plays with his friend's younger brother who likes it and is now blackmailing him to do more. River now has a painful secret --that he is gay and playing with a younger kid--who he wants to hide from others. His self-hate might push him to be violently anti-gay and David could be a target.

What a consequential , penultimate chapter. Knowing one more remains. I expect that some loose ends might still be tied up and that gives me hope We know why Swift acted and that he was thwarted--gratefully. Lucas was saved by Jase. Lucas was his 40th soul to save, not Macy. Lucas was told his mission was to guide Macy from now on and she would be a powerful force for good. Lucas has his role now. Jase left Lucas to recapture his life. The two lovers seem to be separated. I agree with CincyKris, it is bittersweet. Jase also deserves a happy life after his 40 missions. I so want to read the conclusion and your answers soon.

The three who followed them showed their care and love which impressed those they tried to save. All have grieved for Agrell and will keep her memory in their hearts. Oh God--They found the bastard, Detective Swift at Macy's old house. Swift fired at Jase and Lucas Jumped in front to take the bullet. He saved Jase. Is Lucas going to die ? Wiil he have time to check out and see if Macy is OK. If she is fine, Jase could save Lucas. Will Martinez shoot Swift now and wound him or kill him so Macy can be saved? Or-- Will Swift moved quickly to kill Jase and Martinez,

A pleasant and revealing intro to the building tensions --David missed seeing his forest god but left him a gift of food and River realizes he likes boys and David is prized by him. He stares at David. Next weekend David will return to same area and move about naked again. David will be hoping to see the beautiful boy who seems to be one with nature and promised himself to be more direct with the forest god. River is becoming more interested in touching boys and may fix on David to the point of being a stalker and a person who will not take no for an answer. A beautiful naked David in the forest like he sees him in the gym shower will excite him. What will he feel and do if he sees David naked with the forest god?

Colin and Armand continue to take very good care of the boys, girls and those in the home. But things are complicated. Marcel has to go back to help out his sick brother. They enjoy fishing. Trevor is having a great time at Harvard--being very popular, performing well in his courses, dating a hot woman who satisfies him well, keeping company with good friends, being open to trans friends and running with wolf shifter college friends in a nearby pack's land. Meeting up with the sole female alpha shifter was a highlight. Trevor is now home from college in is his pack's lands. I wonder if trouble can stay away. I am suspicious. Will it happen while Trevor is acting as the beta for his alphas or will Shannon need serious help in Mexico on her dig?

Jase figured it out---He is facing another powerful being like himself who wants Macy and is manipulating people. Detective Swift, if he is a detective, is his evil opponent He brings Lucas along to his view. He and Lucas do not know why he wants Macy. They are now going to search for Macy and Detective Swift. Has the evil guy left any clues with Martinez as to where he might reside?

The first real test was met and Lahari protected them by destroying the fishermen. I hope the barkeep does not get worried and contact the authorities. I wonder what power Auntie Peg has since she relied on her attitude and voice to push the men away. Let us hope she really is a messiah and not someone who might betray them.

What a happy, exciting Thanksgiving meal and festivities that culminated with the key people spending the night in bed with each other. The sons are going to be trained by the generals and the dangerous sword dance will be taught to Shan. The young men are being prepared for their future roles. So far commentators think Gideon knows he is being followed. He is too smart and skilled to be fooled by a new vampire, Kavan. He might appreciate that Kavan and crew are not yet interfering. Gideon is honoring his family and their deaths by vampires though his searches and ash disposal. He has one remaining task in Venice--it seems he wants to kill an ancient and powerful vampire who is connected to the cruel deaths of his family.
