This was easy to read and to get back into the story. Thank you for continuing the saga. It seems people do not talk honestly to each other. We have some clarity and drama. It is encouraging that Kathy left Amos and she and her younger son are with Nic. She tried to apologize but Nic pushed her away He cannot talk about the major trauma he went through that she does not know about. He still lives with the pain and fears and hang-ups. Talking to his girlfriend he understands he has pushed away the three guys who like him. School came up with security solutions after the incident last week. It means Nic has no place to kiss or fuck with Jake of anyone else Jake is destabilized. His best friend, Luke, has decided to join the army. Nic has rejected him and said they were history. Jake cannot give him up. He decides to bake cookies for him with Ellie's help What will Nic say? My hope is for Nic and Jake to get back together and help each other become stronger. Besides, they have always had mind blowing, exciting, passionate sex. They need to keep having great sex.

Wow--every hunter on a team was killed brutally and they died in agony. Even the distant observer of the team was found and killed. The shift who was the target in an alleyway turned out to be too powerful and vengeful with unexpected serious powers. Good riddance of the hunters. But there are other teams of hunters actively targeting shifts who are still in danger. Our heroes are not safe and are unaware of the high intensity of the search with intent to kill by the hunters

Jase found his answers as to why and knows his role will end after he saves number 40. He knows there are others with a special power and goals for specific people. But, he was a youth with no way of supporting himself. Perhaps after saving Macy, he and Lucas will begin a long-term relationship and Jase can find work

Agrell now knows other ex-cult members are in the town Both Dozi and Agrell are now more vulnerable. I am still concerned about the active hunter search parties.

Will Mr Gartner's brother, who is also a snake at times, get along with him when they meet at the hospital. Will the brother accept Andy's apologies and remorse over the burning of his brother or will he react with hostility and kick Andy out his brother's life? Is this going to be the end of a relationship? Might, instead, Andy and Mr. Gartner be on a path of acceptance and renewal?

They were able to be reprovisioned and not be found out. Macy got new clothes. They know that soon that will have to ointact Swift and Martinez. No word in the news on the criminals after Macy or why the police station was on fire. Jase is about to explain about his number 40 tattoo and the souls he had and has to save. Agrell seemingly fearlessly or naively moved further into the underground leaving Dozi. She found three strange beings carrying out disposal tasks for someone in charge. They talked about deaths and destroyed areas due to the major explosion. Someone heard a sound upon returning to throw more away, Was Agrell discovered or was the sound made by someone else? The underground is mysterious/scary/troubling and Agrell is seriously at risk from being hurt by acting alone. What is going on with the three?
