From the Stream to the Sea Unsurprisingly it started in the summer, although that year the weather was unusually warm even in May, and for us kids it was great to be out again in the woods and fields that surrounded our homes. During the week we would be at school for most of the day, and then in the evenings, there were chores to do around the house or we would have to attend lectures and meetings. Adam is a 14 year old boy living in a commune in the wilds of Oregon. The story deals with events during the summer as he becomes sexually aware and involved with Gabriel, who is a couple of months older.

I think the story effectively died 4 years ago. I also suspect most of those will by now have totally forgotten the story. -

Thanks for the comments. After some years of not thinking about it,they made me think about the story again and where I left it. Your proposed action does indeed feel the correct one. If that was done the story then has nowhere special to go. The other option would be the one that Mum didn't mention which is trying to trace the relatives. However, I didn't have any real knowledge of hos that could be done in the US, so consider this the end. -

WOW! What a story! I'd never expected that Max would appear, but his presence and the explanation of the origins of the island and of skwish itself were simply brilliant. The product of an outstanding author with an incredible imagination. And a story with a message, one that hopefully will be heeded for the future.

Contrary to @ReaderPaul I did expect that they would find Ian Lewellen there. It made sense for him to be there. @drpaladin said "Is this truly the well spring of all the skwish on Earth?". That would seem to be the logical conclusion. But like the 'gang' I m going to have to wait for the final chapter to find out if my thoughts on that are correct. As for Robin, in what we presume to be his original existence he did indeed kill to help the poor and downtrodden, so it would not be too surprising if he has done similar things since. As an aside, it is nice to see that the 'gang' is no longer an all male affair and that Amy has not only been welcomed aboard, but is also contributing.

Geron Hardy leaves us with a cliffhanger.🙂. Mind you, we do know that Lewellen must have emerged from the apparent trap without any great harm as he later wanted to return there. I'd been thinking they'd have to go to Tierra del Fuego in order to investigate, but seances are certainly much more convenient. Besides which. I'm not sure Amy is quite ready yet for teleporting!
