No doubt the school board reflects the time and place. I agree, it is rewarding when a story produces reactions and comments from readers.

Hadn't considered the possibility of the bodies being those of one of the other tribes. Does explain how they came to be there though! While Dorf would have had little compunction in despatching two of the mages being a professional warrior, it was a very different matter for Jamie even though he had no choice. I suspect there will be others to come as the evil appears to be deeply rooted.

We don't know if it is a dead man. Irik said 'something is dead'. I wonder if it might be Mos, but am struggling to work out how it could be. If it is then it would be a definite statement that their progress is being tracked, although how whoever put it there would know they'd go exploring at this station, is another question.

A cliffhanger ending! A fresh cadaver where apparently no life has been for thousands of years. A puzzle indeed, especially as it appears to be in an out of the way place.

Nuclear fusion? Wouldn't that present a problem to whoever was delivering it if they were in close proximity? I was thinking more in terms of a flamethrower or napalm.
