  1. I've ordered. I'm happy. http://amzn.to/2x3YWRF
  2. We went through this during the initial upgrade. We do not control that part of the software. Notifications are removed automatically by the system.
  3. The story is much better after you get off that first planet
  4. The lack of notifications on chapter comments is a reported bug and is being worked on.
  5. As Cia mentions, Reading Lists, which will be a feature in our next major update, will handle all the favorites. Favorite Authors, Favorite Stories, and you'll be able to create lists of people or stories. For example, you could create a list of "My Favorite Readers". The dropping of the old listings at this time was accidental. But it actually plays exactly into what the problem was. Favorite Stories and Favorite Authors was based on "liking" a story. When we changed to reactions, that disappeared. It was something we missed because we've been working on the replacement. I'll check with the programmer... if it doesn't take much effort, I'll bring back the current system. If it does, we'll have to wait until the replacement. Sorry we missed this.
  6. I'll have to look into this further. There was some code put into place to prevent name collisions on links, it seems to be overkilling a bit.
  7. I do like SWTOR. I just don't have time to line up my time to play with subscription time. All too often I play games in bursts. Too much work going on.
  8. Overall, I enjoyed Andromeda, but they had some issues. I found it to be sort of like Mass Effect 1, but opposite. ME1 was spot on for story, but the playing mechanics were clunky. Andromeda, the playing mechanics were nailed, but the story was not as good as I'm used to from Bioware. But that's the mighty high bar. It wasn't a wonderful story, but it was good.
  9. I love that!
  10. Happy Birthday @Cia
  11. Should be all set now.

No, the only bug we've had reported is the opposite. The solution is the same though. You have to clear the cookie for GA. If you are truly interested in logging in all the time, just use Privacy browsing mode in your browser. It, by definition, does not save cookies. It is called "Incognito" in Chrome and Safari. It is called "InPrivate" in Microsoft Edge It is called "Private" in FireFox.
  13. That is what they call a tooltip and it happens when you hover the mouse over the text editor. The easy solution is to not leave your mouse where you are typing. To be honest, I never even noticed it come up before.
  14. This is a definitely one of Comsie's cute quick little stories from back in the day. I remember going to a sneak preview of the T2 movie with my uncle. Eddie held all my attention. I definitely had a thing for him back then (1991) lol.

    Chapter 1

I remember when T2 came out. I so drooled all over myself watching Eddie.
  16. This is a spot on send up of the stories that encouraged me to start Gay Authors to find stories with plots. This story is only a little over the top to some of the things I've read over the years. Great joke.

    Chapter 1

You know, this fits in exactly with the stories I used to find all the time before starting Gay Authors... only they weren't written to be intentionally funny!
  18. This is excellent advice and I agree wholeheartedly with Comicality on the importance of feedback and how helpful it is to authors. Something to keep in mind, for most online writers, your feedback is the only pay they get for their hard work.

    Chapter 1

    This is great advice!
  20. Always take the time to drop an author a message when you read their stuff. Even if it is short. Thanks Comsie!
  21. This is some really good advice on how to approach sex scenes. This is definitely worth a read if you're writing sex scenes in your stories.

    Chapter 1

I went through my writing experiment stage where I wrote explicit sex, but I'll admit, I am one of the ones that mostly skips explicit sex scenes. I think this really took hold after reading so many writing books. What an author writes about sex really exposes you to everyone on what you think about sex.
  23. This is very good advice for those trying to make the leap into writing. There are entire books out there focused on what Comicality has distilled down in this article.
  24. This is some great advice for writers and for readers alike. Since I'm an author myself, I try really hard not to be horrible when I write a review or leave a comment. If I have something really bad to say, I tend to not say it all unless backed into a corner about it. I do try to include the positives when I do negatives. It's very rare that everything is horrible on a story.
  25. This is some great advice for when you get hit by writer's block. Comicality has the highest word count on the site, so he knows a few things about writing and his advice is always welcome.
