    Oh.. a Real Post

Hmm. I have so many partial Psionic Corp stories floating around. I've been working on putting one together into a coherent stand-alone.

    Oh.. a Real Post

Ugh. I've got a little problem lately that I can't seem to get under control. I can't sit still. This makes working on anything rather difficult as I have the most trouble sitting in my desk chair. Motivation to do so is also somewhat lacking. I can't force myself to focus on much of anything lately. I'm hoping that it has just been the crappy weather we've had all week. Today, I have a nice long list of things I plan on working on. I'm mowing the lawn, cleaning the basement, cleaning my room, (and other forms of spring cleaning), and I also plan on knocking off a few of the things on my list for the site. Keep your fingers crossed! Tomorrow, I plan on taking some pictures of the great outdoors. It is supposed to be sunny and nice. Anyhoo, I might be posting some of my writing updates soon. They are not ready for the site, but they might prove to some people that I have been doing at least a little writing lately
  5. For those that missed the great commercials: https://www.gayauthors.org/forums/blog/myr/...?showentry=7568
  6. I love them both This was one great show. The slowest/worse part for me was George Micheal. heh I also LOVED the two Guitar Hero commercials! Both Davids in their undies!
  7. It looks like Little David Archuleta blew out the doors on the Nokia tonight with his singing. wow!

  11. Thank you very much everyone!
  12. I will buy CDs from either of them. (or both). I've bought most of their studio-recorded songs off from iTunes.
  13. David A is a cute little cherub. I doubt he would know what sexuality was if it hit him upside the head. (no doubt it did with Danny Noriegga around in the beginning...)
  14. My guess is that it will be a battle of the Davids.
  15. I think we're probably going to see an All David Finale. David Cook's Billie Jean and Little Sparrow from a few weeks ago absolutely rocked. David Archuleta has that little cherub look going on. And the boy can really sing too. They both sound good on CD when in the car. I'll buy both their CDs when they come out.

    Body hair

I've found that I have to laugh at my misfortune. I absolutely despise hair on myself. Arms, legs, and even belly wouldn't bother me much. It's the hair on the buns and back that drives me up a wall. And the other thing is that the vast majority of people, as seen from the sampling above, are not overly fond of it either... getting rid of the hair is next on my agenda after getting rid of these last few pounds of baggage.

    Body hair

Well... I can't stand body hair. And when I turned 18, I found out God was a woman and hated me... because I turned into a friggin Yeti. It is something I have learned to put up with. I have hair everywhere except my palms (ironically) and the souls of my feet. I even have hobbit style hair tufts on the top of my feet. I trim back the forest on my back and my chest. Laser hair removal IS in my future. Shaving my face is another issue. I have 5 o'clock shadow by noon. I have stubble by 5 o'clock. I have what some of you wannabe facial hair people would call a full beard in about 3 days. and I can't stand the hair. I figure it's my punishment in life... When I was on vacation in Florida last October, my friends talked me into removing my shirt by the pool. Some little snot of a kid asked his mother if I was Big Foot. Said mother suddenly realized they had somewhere else to be. She appologized on her way by. *sigh*

    Busy, Busy, Busy!

Yikes! It has been awhile, hasn't it? For those of you that don't know this by now, I get up about an hour early every morning to take care of emails and other Site related stuff. I generally eat breakfast while doing this. Then it is all day at work. When I get home, I boot back up the computer and spend an hour or two taking care of email and posts on the site. This is every weekday. Weekends are much the same, except I don't have to go to work. Lately, I have been writing. I'm working on 3 different stories at the moment. A new Psionic Corp future state (spaceship future) that I haven't titled yet; a Valdemar (by Mercedes Lackey) FanFiction that is set between Brightly Burning and Exile's Valor in that time frame where there is nothing cannon; and the Harry Potter and the Parliament of Dreams Chapter 3 rewrite. I am also working on eliminating problems on the Gay Authors site and designing a new look that is easy and straightforward to navigate and find things. In the meantime, I have put some search functions in to make it easier for people to find things. In addition to all that, I'm keeping my eye on the future. There is some new software that I'm testing for the site. There are a raft of software updates for the site that I will be installing this weekend. I will be taking a break to get more achievements on my Xbox 360 though. Hopefully, none of you begrudge me that.
  20. Have they gone stale? No. As some of you may know, I am a Harry Potter Fanfiction Nut. If I'm bored and have a few minutes, I usually pull one of them up. There are over 350,000 of them on just FanFiction these days. Granted tons of them suck, but there are some real gems in there. and that's just one little subset of one type of genre. As other people may know, I'm a huge Mercedes Lackey fan. (Last Herald-Mage Trilogy rocks) She writes primarily in the Fantasy genre. Main stream NYT best selling author that happens to have an affinity for writing stories about teen boys. And gay teen boys too. I read a new fanfiction based in her Valdemar world that really really rocks. The author tells me he'll be posting in eFiction here soon. Quite talented. My personal preferences for stories are: Fantasy and Hard Science Fiction. Especially with a gay protagnist or short of that, a teen guy. Fantasy and Science fiction can never get old because you can always come up with something new. It is just a matter of who is posting here and elsewhere on the net at any given time. Most of us can read far faster than writer's can write. Myr
  21. I am guilty on my site of having half the statuses listed. It is on my list of things to do as I redo the site. It is also on my list of things to do as I redo GA. The Story Archive also has a status listed. (I can't promise that it is up to date though)

    Smoking

I'm allergic to cigarette smoke. It gives me a nasty migraine fairly quickly. This, in turn, gives me some homicidal urges. (You don't want to be around when I have those) Needless to say, I spend very little time around people that smoke. Even the smoke-smell that clings to clothes will trigger it on me. (just slower than actually being around the smoking) Congratulations on quitting! My grandfather died at age 51 largely because of his smoking.
  23. Yup. I loved the making of the Ford Commercial video. Did you notice David up on that ladder? quite the nice little bubblebutt going on.
  24. Are you an exhibitionist? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml.../13/wgay113.xml
