  1. That would almost get me to resubscribe.
  2. Thank you very much, pickuptoy, for reading and for the comment. The Bucs need an owner like Vinik, and then perhaps they would be a lot better team than they are now. Being down here for 30 years, you should remember Buccaneer Bruce, the original mascot. I've had to do some revision to what I've written for the fourth installment. But there will be one final story to the series. I'm glad you enjoyed this series so far.
  3. And as pointed out in this very blog, are where the proper places are to take such discussions: The Pit or Personal Blog. I would assume Private Messages as well. -Bravo Six, Going Dark.
  4. Not joking at all. I've mentioned "T" before in the DIC. He works on Capital Hill as a staffer, and today the camera captured him walking through the hallway before the session started.
  5. Personal opinion, as I am not GA staff, but using the term "argue" in your examples is implying political debate. As you will be aggressively defending your idea, as much as the other guy is about there's. So, in that light, and to use a current event as an example. A non-political post would be something I posted earlier: "I had a funny moment during the Impeachment Trial today, when my First Boyfriend walking across my TV screen through the Halls of the Senate. He still looks perfect!" He works on Capitol Hill... and I'm getting all the Tea.... That's my two coppers.
  6. Keeping in mind GA's rules on politics. Had a nice chuckle watching the Impeachment Trial today, when I saw my first boyfriend walking across the screen in the Halls of the US Senate. He stills looks perfect. 😁
  7. @Myr How World Anvil been treating you lately?
  8. Over here in our private Author Club, is a thread dedicated to Music to Write to. Check it out!
  9. Yes. It took less time for me to take care of my business than it did for the whole trip there and back.
  10. Oh, there has been some hotties on the bus today. Smoking hot!
  11. Yeah, and I got 2 more buses to go, and a half-mile walk.
  12. Today's adventure in Tampa's public transportation so far has shown me: 1. Five buses and 3.5 hours to get to the stop nearest to my destination. 2. Standing room only is NOT safe... at all. Almost flying to the front of the bus with 3 others when the driver has to hard break because of an idiot driver in a car was not fun. 3. When the cops get called, the crazy person runs like hell, and makes the bus late. 4. Asthma attacks make people think you have the Coronavirus. But at least I got the seat to myself. 5. Sitting in Duncan Donuts waiting for your next bus, so you're not waiting outside in the cold damp air, let's you have time to think. Started a new pop up story about a Human and a Synthetic being getting it on in the middle of a war. Might actually post it, on Nifty, because it's nothing but pure smut. Or adjust it some, and some plot to make it passable for GA. Alright, bus Number Four to go home is almost here.
  13. "When in doubt, shove it into the Pit." One of the best things I ever did on GA was unsubscribing to The Pit, and the toxic atmosphere in it.
  14. I'm still available if you need a Beta Reader.
  15. Hugs. And, I've been there before. But mine was leftover pumpkin pie.
  16. *waves on the way through* Good night everyone. I hope everyone is well.
  17. Doing better today. Taking it easy, but was dragged off to a 3y/o's birthday party yesterday. He wanted to have his party at the local Chinese/Japanese Buffet. LOL.
  18. Thanks, my Brother. Glad to be back, and I will defo be following the doctor's orders. Been laying in bed catching up on schoolwork, and watching old movies. Had my notebook with me, so I have a lot of plot notes for we I get some writing time.
  19. Prompt #: 808 is on the list!

    Dad

I didn't have a good relationship with my dad, but we worked it out before he passed due to cancer. I like to think we were in a better place there at the end. Your poem reminded me of that.
  21. All three of these poems are beautiful and wonderful tim. I'll need more time to reflect on them, but I feel the emotions in these. That first one, I've experienced more times than I want to admit.
  22. Just got back from a few days of vacation in the hospital, from Wednesday night to this morning. Asthma turned sever respiratory infection, and they wanted me to stay for a couple of days. So, I am home now and just chilling with orders to take it easy for the next couple of weeks. Had a dead phone, and no laptop.
