    Fantastic poem, Mac. That center stanza produces a lovely visual, that for me, is of two people who find a love and desire for one another despite the distance between them. Beautiful written.

    The Canadian National Anthem is pretty cool. All calm, and proper. Stand on Guard for thee. Then the USA National Anthem comes on, and it's about a battle in the War of 1812... where we fought Great Britain and Canada and won the battle at Fort McHenry.

    My boys are about to come on. A local station, Fox Sports Sun. Lightning #1 team in the NHL, playing the absolute worse team in the league #31 Ottawa.

    Slay thy Dragons... And remember... It's not a Dungeon, but an Underground, Fortified, Defense, Installation. Sorry to hear that it's snowing again... What I found was funny to my pre-caffinated mind was the "expecting 8 inches." My perverted mind went straight into the gutter with that.

    Another great chapter, tim. The opening made me chuckle. It's such a normal response to being away from normal routines, that it's familiar to the reader. How Donny handle the CA workers, was excellent. After dealing with DCF workers on several occasions, with different issues, most caseworkers are nice but you'll get one eventually that is unfriendly. More than once I wish I was Donny in those meetings. What the partners are doing for Lous is terrific. It goes to show that Lous is great at what he does. I'm glad the partners decided they didn't want to lose Lous. I could use a Tupperware fully of Snacky Stuff right now.

    I know the signs well enough, that I need to dip-out for awhile before this Manic phase takes hold. Going to go meditate for a while, and then schoolwork. Back later, and may everyone have a great day.

    Traitorous Mind - Hits very close to home. Your words sum up how I feel at times. Both poems are excellent, tim. I get the visual from Traitorous Mind immediately with just the first few words. Shards reminds me of someone who is longing for someone and harkens back to two of your earlier poems, A Walk on the Riverbank and Forevermore.
