    Ok, back to Beta Reading... on my second pass, and currently on page 8 of 14, and leaving comments.

    tim gave me the honor of reading the final chapter a while ago. I agree with AC, two and done. It's a fantastic story, and to quote someone who gives me great advice (and slaps me upside the head at times), "You don't want a story to go on too much. You should have a reason to write a sequel, and then end it."

    Slightly better day. Mom says Hi to everyone. I'll be around some today, got some schoolwork I have no choice but to do today, once it gets unlocked. In the meantime, off to Beta a Chapter.

    There was a store near where I lived as a kid and just gave them away. I took a few, set them on their side stacked, and then bound them with wire for a makeshift shelf.

    This chapter had it all. A rollercoaster of emotions. Fantastic chapter, tim. We met Kyle early in the story, and while we only see him there and he's mentioned here, he leaves a lasting impact. It's heartbreaking to see Maxy upset like that.

    When I was Beta Reading this chapter, I had to look up what "gotchies" were. I got it by context, but wanted to make sure. LOL. I love how tim drops that sort of stuff in. Makes it feel really authentic.
