Thanks, Mac!

I hope the headache gets better, and enjoy the outing.

Home alone, and quiet house. About to go study. Took a practice test last night and didn't do so hot on it. I hope everyone is having a good day.
-
Now I need to find the DragonLance books on eBook!
-
The two "T"s both died in that book. The first was Tanis, and that one made me walk away. The second one was Tass. I chucked the book so hard I left a bent in the drywall.

Thank you very much, Mancunian, for reading and for the comment. Abuse by a partner is all too common.

Thank you very much, Thorn, for reading and for the comment. I mentioned earlier, that I feel everyone can use a Greg in their lives. I still stand by that.

To add to this topic, and using the DragonLance saga. In the Dragons of Summer Flame book---which TSR/WotC used to RetCon the saga in a new direction---there were two deaths of fan beloved characters. The first one made me put down the book, and walk away from it for about a month before I picked it back up. The second one, I literally threw the book across the room. I eventually finished the book, but after that scene, I stopped buying the books and got rid of my collection of all TSR/WotC Dungeons and Dragons novels. Which was around 75 - 80 books at the time.

Readers, why do you read a story but not Comment?

Time for me to add something besides my "ditto" above. There are some stories I've read where I gave out pity comments and reactions. While the story is so absolutely horrible, I'll toss something in the comments, or just click the thumbs-up button just to show I've read it. I was taught praise in public, criticize in private, and that's what I do. In public, some of my comments are all Sunshine and Unicorn-Glitter-Farts; however, in private I can get brutally honest with my opinion if I was asked to give it. More than once I've had authors here stop talking to me because they asked for honest feedback and I gave it to them. -
After Caturday Night, it's Catbox Sunday...

Morning everyone. Need coffee.

Home Alone, in a nice quiet house... I do believe I am going to take a piping hot bath, chill out, and finish some school stuff while drinking a warm beverage of some kind. Tea, Decaf Coffee, and Hot Chocolate are the options. Also, this morning, got the notice that the second disbursement has been applied this morning, and within the next few days the remaining overage will be deposited into my account. Which is good. I can use it right now. Need some stuff.
-
LOL. I use it all the time. It's something we use down here.

What tim said. I had thought about responding to that one, but all my other learning teammates did that one. I'm going the one about liquid and fixed assets.

The Gasparilla Parade is on TV and the Budweiser Clydesdales just went by. It's being livestreamed on a couple of local news station's websites. So, if you look for WFLA NBC Channel 8, you might be able to catch it.
-
Yeah, I should. LOL With as many times as I read the chapters while Beta Reading them for you. Even then, you've made a few changes before posting.

Pretty much everything I would have said, has been said, so I will just say: Ditto... -

I'll be around. Gotta charge the headphones, so I can finish school stuff. Plus my head is not in the right place. I'll see y'all later.

This week has been a struggle. Wine and almost daily trips to the fitness center have helped.

For our second attendance and participation posting, I have to choose one of the following prompts and do a 150 - 300 word response... Trying to decided which one I want to do. How are budgets created and used? What success have you had with creating and using a personal budget? What are two cash management products or services offered by financial institutions? Provide a short description of each. According to the "Interactive Figure 3.2: Liquid Assets" in this week's Learning Path, what are some examples of liquid assets? How are liquid assets different from fixed assets? Why is it important to have liquid assets? Some individuals prefer to have their employers withhold more money than they will owe so they can get big refund checks in April or May. Others prefer to minimize withholdings, so they can either spend the money throughout the year or put it into a retirement or other savings account. Which strategy do you think is better? Explain why.

Another great chapter, tim.

It is. Last year, the NHL All-Stars Weekend was the same Weekend as the Pirate Fest. The Pirates stole the Stanley Cup and kidnapped its handler. This year, because we have the 2-year-old, and it's too cold to take him out to be along the water, we'll be watching it on the TV 2:30 pm is the Parade and Mario Lopez is the Grand Marshal this year.
