Thanks, BB.

I'm out for the rest of the night. About to go find a six-pack somewhere.

Thank you very much, Butcher56, for reading and for your comment. I'm sorry to hear about your cousin, be there for him for support, and encourage him to seek help if he needs it.

@Mikiesboy, @Backwoods Boy Both of you, I appreciate it a lot for the help in this story. Your input was very valuable, timely, needed, and superb.

Sleep Well, my Brother

Eric is a shattered man, and this group session is his first step toward healing. Will it help him, or hurt him? Only time knows.

Wise words:

Yes. I had to be a member of the club to post there.

I'll try again to post in Live Poets. When I went earlier it didn't even give me the option to. It might be because I'm not a member of the club.

I just did one between reading sections in the textbook. Thanks, Mac. It partly does. I should have written down the syllable count, but forgot to like a dumbass. Thanks, Bro. That helped. Okay... here's my lame-ass attempt at one. No snow on the ground, winter is never that cold. The sand I walk on warmed by the sun, shifts away dreams of winter wonderlands.

Because I can't post it in the Poetry Club... Is there a Tanka Syllable Counter out there somewhere? No promises but I may try my hand at it.
-
These are excellent Tankas, Mike. You paint a beautiful tapestry with these.

January Classic Author Feature: The Falcon Banner by Topher_Lydon
Brayon commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
I enjoyed this series a lot, as it's a fantastic work of Science Fiction. In my review of the second book in this series, here on GA, are the links to the remaining three books posted offsite. From what I gathered there was supposed to have been a sixth and final book, but I'm not sure what happened to that one.- 2 comments

Sleep Well, Bro.

Had to laugh, Bro... at myself. I didn't know that.
-
Glad to hear it's nothing major, Bro. Get some Chicken Soup, and Ice Cream. Everyone feels better with ice cream. Just saw a weather report for the Northeast US and parts of Canada. You all stay warm up there.

Did my taxes for the first time since I went on disability, for the 1098-T tuition statement form. Went through the whole process, and ended up with a refund. Wondered why I did, shrugged said Oh Well... then it dawned on me... this is part of what I'm studying at college right now. Yes, I want to do payroll and bookkeeping aspects, but tax prep is part of it. Also, at the end of the program, one of the final classes is a Prep course for my C.P.A. lisc.

You look out for yourself first, Bro.

I miss your word of the day, Bro. But, I like that quote.

I have a new story set to drop in the next day or two. It's posted unpublished, so Cia can look over the tags and the story and chapter warnings. Had to slap a huge one on the chapter, due to a graphic scene. It's titled: Hello, my name is Eric.
-
Good luck, Bro. I hope it's good news.

“Hello, my name is Eric.” “Hello, Eric.” “This is my third meeting… the first I’ve talked… my psychologist recommended I come… and… I have never been happy.” I wasn’t sure why I stayed, nor why I volunteered to talk. My therapist, Doctor Rivera, had said it would help me by talking to others in a group. It was a mixed group of men and women, all of us were GLBT, and it was a ‘safe space’ for us to tell our stories. Twelve pairs of eyes were looking at me. “I’m really not sure whe
