Loved it. Very thought provoking and it hit close to home. Working on 1 and 2 because of 3 combined with illness(not Covid), this damn quarantine, and I never met a carb that I didn't love. 4 =. 5 courses not a problem if we're talking about food (lol). Couldn't do 5 courses in Uni. Took me a long time to finish, but finish I did. 6 never happened to me. 10 seconds yes--to answer a biology question during a dissection @ Uni. 7 rubies are my birthstone. If you ever tire of them........😁 Thank you for sharing your talent. It totally brightened my day.

Rhys and the ghost are connected somehow. I'm thinking that Rhys witnessed something rather than being a participant. Of course, we'll have to wait for @Laura S. Fox to bring a new chapter so we'll have more clues. I'm enjoying this story Laura!

Best line ever! Beverly has fast become one of my favorites. Will and Brad seem to be in a good place right now so hopefully, Brad won't screw it up. LOL. I love how Will kept Jakes confidence. Carullo is certainly protective of JJ. Kudos to him for setting his "friends" right by showing them that tape. Thanks for another great chapter @Mark Arbour. Look forward to the next one. Happy Bastille Day in advance!

Such a vast departure from your usual style and format @lomax61, but it only shows what a talented writer you are. This was very well crafted and paced and I really enjoyed the entire story. Like the others, I'm going to go back and re-read it. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

Clairvoyance or coincidence. You decide, but I'll not admit to either. 🤫

That's because we live in "Cancel Culture" and have given our stamp of approval by participating in the negative aspects of social media. Everything is instantaneous but for the apologies. I'll climb off my soapbox now. Lol. I just discovered this (and the Anthology series) amazing short story. I'll echo what everyone else has said in that you've tackled an extremely difficult topic and you handled it masterfully. I'm a fan and I look forward to reading more of your work and (hopefully) a possible continuation of this story.

Chapter 11 - Where Penn Arrives
spyke commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Chapter 11 - Where Penn Arrives
These two comments got me to thinking....what if Penn and Cam are in a "marriage of convenience?" Guess we'll know more in the next chapter. Have a great holiday @Mrsgnomie!- 47 comments

I third this idea @Wayne Gray😁

Now that's a whole other conversation........or another book depending on your preferences. LOL. I'm not a fan of TC right now. I feel that he pushed way too far with David for his own selfish need to get him to surrender. TC should have had the balls to confess his true feelings to David long before this, but he didn't.

Chapter 8 - Going Commando
spyke commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Chapter 8 - Going Commando
I can see why Nash doesn't want the to take the spousal support. He's thinking that it will tie him to Lee for a year and he just wants to be done with it. However, he's making a big mistake if he is thinking that Lee's going to play fair or be reasonable about things. Lee's a lawyer after all. He'll go for the financial jugular. -
Chapter 7 - Dear Future Husband
spyke commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Chapter 7 - Dear Future Husband
Great chapter @Mrsgnomie!! After all of the revelations I have a feeling there's going to be hell to pay.......... for Lee. Lol -
And yet out of the gate, you lead with "Kung Fu Panda." @Laura S. Fox 🤣

Chapter 6 - Trying to Cope
spyke commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Chapter 6 - Trying to Cope
Very well said and that's why I'm such a big fan of @Mrsgnomie. This story hits close to home for a lot of us. Mine cheated after 16 years. I didn't find out about it until he packed up and left without a word. Slightly different details, but still the same story.- 33 comments

Out of the mouths of babes---problem solved. LOL. This was a great chapter and the dolphin scene was really amazing. It's apparent that whatever happens, TC has won over the kids.

My thinking is that because they've been friends for so many years, this relationship is going to be quite unique with respect to typical BDSM/Dom/Sub "norms." Particularly given the fact that you've created two doms with one wanting to explore the sub side, I think that there really aren't any mistakes, just a different approach or view. It's great that you're getting guidance and input from folks here on GA. Oh, and I second what @chris191070 said above. Great Chapter!

"He called you a 'cheap date'." So Bailey has a sense of humor and just pulled one over on Harlan. It seems that he's got Harlan's number and is going to have fun with it. Harlan better step up the ASL lessons and learning. It was really distressing reading how Rayne thinks that he is broken. ☹️

There are maybe 4 authors who have the talent to pull me right into a story. You do realize @kbois that you're one of those authors, right? I'm glad that you're back and I look forward to reading this and more of your stories!

Amazing story and format @Wayne Gray. You've managed to condense a novel into a short story and not sacrifice anything in the process. The characters were fully developed and the story was complete. The time transitions were so smooth that (once or twice) I had to rewind to find where the shift had occurred. Thanks for sharing your talent with us once again.

^This. Maybe not right away, but don't dismiss the possibility. I can see lots more developments and adventures for this group. As always @Wayne Gray, another excellent chapter. Take care and be well. We all are doing our best to cope during this difficult time, but your writing makes it a lot more bearable for many of us.

Thank you for sharing such an intimate glimpse into your life. I hope that your family can continue getting the help that you need. I don't think that anyone fully "recovers" or "heals" from such a horrific trauma, but my wish for you and your family is that you find peace and a way forward. While writing is "cathartic" and allows you to get lost for a little while, reading for me has the exact same effect. You and the other amazing authors on GA may not realize how many of us need a bit of diversion and escape particularly when life as you know it gets derailed and your brain gets overloaded and overwhelmed. I'm sure that you can relate. Thanks so much for the stories that you've written. I look forward to your next creations. And a shout out to @Wayne Gray for the subtle direction to your blog.

We hate cliffhangers! LOL. Another great chapter Laura. It's going to be a long week waiting for the next installment.
-
Get out of my brain @chris191070 . LOL I was thinking the exact same thing.

And here I thought I was the only one to use that expression @kbois! But I'm glad that you've overcome the writers block. I've missed your stories and am looking forward to your return.
