No warning necessary. Considering the overall tone of this chapter, sex would have been a gratuitous ploy. Very good call Wayne. I'm enjoying the story and your writing. I agree with @Daddydavek and @chris191070 about Chad being perceptive and I really liked the interaction between the two of them. Can't wait for the next chapter. 👍

This I agree with. If he had spine he would have told his parents upfront and not left the photo out for his mother to find. Whatever he may say it might be too little too late.

The only two who have any sense about them are Jenn and Aiden. It's time to put a fork in this one...as in it's done.

Apparently Noah has forgotten how to be independent. At this point we're left wondering just exactly what he has to lose? Homophobic parents? His family? That gnawing in his stomach from fear that someone will out him? At some point in time he's just going to have to reach down, find his testes, and grow up. I'm seeing such a radical imbalance in where these two are in life, maturity, and love that maybe this is really best for Jordan. I've said it before but sometimes the real happy ending is that two people don't end up together.

Although Jordan said it in anger, maybe this was exactly what was needed to snap Noah out of his ridiculous idea that Sebastian could be trusted to not release the video.

I respectfully disagree. After (as we say in the South) pitching that hissy fit, Noah got exactly what he deserved. All throughout this chapter it's apparent that Jordan bends over backwards and thinks of Noah first and foremost. Noah acted like an ass. That parting shot was mild compared to what I would have done, but then I'm a vengeful bastard. LOL. I'm 💯 Team Jordan on this one, and yes @Ethan you do have a whole bunch of work to do to repair this mess.

Thanks so much for the great story Laura. And after the roller coaster ride these two had, a sweet ending is just what was needed. The only problem is I won't have my Sunday reading fix of Box Shaped Heart. Guess that means I'll have to re-read it!!

I think the story is paced correctly and is realistic. You're writing about a complex character going through the grief process and that doesn't occur in a linear progression. The whole grief process is at best erratic and I think that you've done a great job projecting that to your readers. I'm really enjoying this story and your talent as a writer. Can't wait till the next chapter!

👏👏👏 A great chapter, but now I'm in deep 🤔. I'm going to speculate that Aron has been in love with Carter since high school and that's the meaning of the “I should not have left,” comment. So could it have possibly been Aron who used a little magic or made a deal with the devil to initiate the initial body switch to make Carter fall in love with him? Mmmmm.... Had to have been magic because Alex is most certainly the devil! LOL -
Wow! Carter really went for the jugular when Simon attempted to blackmail Aron. I really look forward to Sunday mornings because I get my Carter and Aron fix!
