This was good.…Slowly warming up, lol. Seeing who Tomas became & seeing where Mitchell is, I realize that Kit actually acted out of great love for two of his great loves….it doesn’t seem as though Tom and Kit would’ve gone the distance regardless and Tom and Mitch have connections while still being virtually unknown to each other, as it was Taylan who was involved more in the day to day of their lives. I see the possibilities but it is still an adjustment, lol.

I’m still trying to reconcile this….I so saw Tom and Kit being Tay & Mitch, 2.0, even recognizing that first romances don’t usually last, I just saw forever with them….glad to know they broke up on good terms, so much so that Tom is good with Kit’s husband and their kids; it’s just I couldn’t foresee the possessive, alpha Kit (much like his dad) being okay with his first love starting a relationship with his father. Still so sorry Mitchell and Taylan’s forever was shorter than expected….how would he feel about his nephew and husband hooking up, will be a stumbling block for both of them? I miss him. Gotta say, if this was always a part of the trilogy, my pants were always going to be caught around my ankles, lol. Mind blown. Will you get into what broke Tom and Kit up & how Kit met Mischa?

I’m gratified to know my thought wasn’t that “out there”. 😊 It’s sad that this is even a possible working theory..,.we should all be accepted for who we are, as long as we aren’t deliberately hurting anyone else….it’s also a testament to the resiliency of the human spirit-some choose to find a way to be themselves, even in the face of treacherous circumstances to their very existence. While progress has been made, there is still so much farther to go. 🙏

So…. Thinking on Reid and Mitch before him from your stories alone, made me wonder: how many sheriffs, heck, how many lawmen do you think were gay back in Old West times? There were some that had families but most westerns shown on tv or in novels usually had a single sheriff or single deputy….we know homosexuality existed back then, would this have been a sought out profession for one who needed to hide in plain sight? Please excuse me if this supposition sounds crazy or can be disputed by facts I’m unaware of but the thought crossed my mind when I read this chapter on Monday & it won’t go away, lol.

Kyan may hate that Trudy and Jed are maintaining his and the kids’ expenses but it is better than Perry; given his parent in law’s largesse and their sincere motivation behind it, Kyan can be at ease, knowing that there may still come a time when he will need to figure out his own independent income source but it isn’t right now….he can continue being the outstanding father he is (and that he loves being) and finances is no longer a roadblock in the progression of his and Perry’s relationship. Jed and Trudy are priceless….I hope Kyan allows their generosity of spirit (and funds) to heal some of the damage his childhood with his parents gave him….we all need that parental affection, unfortunately sometimes it won’t come from the biological units that produced us; Jed and Trudy can’t do anymore to show Kyan how much they consider him their fourth child, not just a son in law. At least a “more than like” declaration between Kyan and Perry is an upgrade from “friends with benefits”, both are hesitating on saying the “ L word” for their own reasons, even though it’s the fifth child in the family, lol. 😉 “POG juice” ?
