Perry knows Kyan better than Kyan knows Perry, so I think he gets how clueless he is on some things but Perry's been jonesing for a loooong time.

So Kyan really has no clue if he’s going to try to get Max and Perry together. It’s sad that Perry is lonely & kinda brave of him to admit that to Kyan; I’m glad Perry dated since Jerrod and superficial or not, I’m glad he curbed “base desires” in between and since. I still wonder if his family knows about his feelings for Kyan. Perry’s house and his break up with Jerrod over the family he obviously wants has me thinking in spite of really bleak odds, he held/holds out hope for a life with Kyan and is playing a long game. At the risk of sounding like a rube….until this comment, I didn’t know there was a hidden meaning behind “Bohemian Rhapsody”….it propelled me to look up any articles on it-seems many theorize this was the gifted Mr. Mercury’s heavily veiled coming out song. I think with their devoted uncle Perry in their lives, who just happens to be gay, this won’t be that cringe worthy in retrospect.

What a way to wake up!! (except for the drool, lol) “It was the most comfortable position he’d ever slept in.” Even more comfortable than sleeping with Dayna?!?! The sunrise may always show off….or things look better when you’ve had a good night’s sleep. I feel Kyan’s financial & childcare concerns all too well. Gracie is a hot mess, lol!! Max looks like he might be too, LOL!!!! After three years, you’d think Kyan would get a better reception with the moms at school….I think Kyan would rather be ignored instead of stared at with a scarlet “W” on his forehead everyday, geez. I was going to say I hoped Max wouldn’t follow suit but that is definitely not the case, lol!! Max may have come on strong but he’s the agitator needed to straighten out a few things in Kyan’s life-being a better friend to Perry & perhaps just having a social life of his own; Kyan and Max have the beginnings of a great friendship if Perry doesn’t get in the way (Max’s potential interest in Perry’s vs. Perry’s disinterest in anyone but Kyan). Heck, Max may be the one to clue in Kyan about Perry wanting him. Kudos to Max for being a great uncle. So Perry is gay. And he broke up with Jerrod when Kyan came into the picture. Did Dayna know about Perry’s interest in Kyan? Did Kyan really misunderstand Max’s “batting” question? LOL!!

And so it starts…. Before I start, thank you for the accelerated timeline….I know the grief by now is interwoven into their existence and it’ll be nice to see how life goes on living with grief. Gracie being a terror is funny (on paper, lol); I guess you have to negotiate with terrorists when one is your child, lol!! The temper tantrum during the shopping scene made me think of one of the ways I read once to stop a tantrum: if Kyan threw himself on the floor and had a tantrum of his own-it’s supposed to stun the child out of their own mood. 🤷‍♀️ This chapter had me amend any future sad-i-pillar cocoons to have a slight air slit, especially if it’s done with someone else, lol. So…. Not much of Perry has been covered outside of him being an anchor for Kyan and his nieces & nephews….is he gay? Has he always been attracted to/in love with Kyan or is he just gay for Kyan? Is Kyan bi or will his feelings be an organic development from the best friendship he has with Perry? (Gay for Perry, so to speak, as well) I gotta say, if Perry’s been romantically into Kyan all this time, he has the discipline of a saint AND a monk (although I do hope he’s been getting some kind of sexual healing while pining for his brother in law). This story is coming into a set up for an incredible romantic relationship with incendiary physical manifestations of said romance….and I’m here for it. Also-your kid speak is da bwest eva!! 😊

Good to hear from you. I’ve missed Mitch & Taylan and Kit & Tom….look forward to seeing what they’ve been up to as well as what other stories you have to tell, your couples are fiery in their love for each other and I like to see it.
