  1. Reading this poem felt like introspection...your words were not only true but powerful...making a person reflect on the words consciously or unconsciously spoken... What I esp liked was your observation on virtual lives of today's generation.. .'And true intentions hide behind software The act of typing words across keyboards Eliminates the need for integrity' Wonderfully written!!

    Bound

I loved the way you started...'you bind me with your words, with you song' and as soon as I read them...I felt bound to your poem...!! 'our souls have met, miles no matter' So truly written, distance doesn't matter when souls are together...but it was the last line which brought a smile to me and I thought...how can we not love you?!!
  3. Thank you dennis..N yes it is a description of life...bit darker part of it!
  4. I m not of a crying disposition...but I couldn't held it in after reading this...The pain, the anger, the sorrow everything was so raw!! (On a personal level I have such experiences myself only it's my mum but I just couldn't word it, even in my poem which is my outlet... when I read yours, everything suddenly came back and I was a sobbing mess, in fact my hands are shaking while writing this) I don't know what to say..."beautiful" doesn't seem right...So I could just say...very well worded/written!!!
  5. Wow sir, I felt sorta sound effect in "Father time 'ticks', 'crunchy' leaves lay", the personification of winter in "winter lurking in it's ancient lair" and the imagery formed of arrival of winter with 'chilled air', 'crunchy leaves' 'greet snow' were excellent!!! But my favorite line in it is 'I still have good fight left in this old frame' Suddenly filled me with lots of energy I m sorry m speaking too much but can't help it!! The poem drew out whole lotta feeling!!
  6. I love the way you started, with the change in the autumn's scent...then making it visually rich with the 'greying field' or 'the rising gloom beyond the mountain'...it was a wonderful read
