I wouldn't expect Corey's father to change all that much. He said it best when he called himself a 'hard ass' to be honest. That's just who he is, the understanding might be that Corey understands that better now, so maybe they won't fight as much.. Don't expect Lee or Robert or either mother to set up dates for their sons... I doubt any parents of teenagers would do that, so don't expect any of them to.. lol. I know most parents dread it.. haha. But they are being protective, for some reason. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Thanks for reading and reviewing. The talk between Lee 'Dad' and Corey was something I knew I would cover if I had time to. It wasn't in the failed epilogue, but since I extended it, it was top of my list. As for Cj... hmm, maybe he goes quietly, maybe not. I had a big story-line involving him and his family, but I doubt I'll get into it.

SIS 32 After helping Jenny clean up the garage I glanced back across the two lawns to Clinton’s house. His truck and the boat were still gone. Sighing, I walked around the side of the house to my car with Jenny still holding my hand. Her eyes had become red and puffy from all the crying. I wanted to hug her, but the summer heat had me sweaty and in need of a shower. “I wonder where Andy and Keith have been all day, I figured they’d be here making a mess of things,” I said glancing dow

Bah, had a reply posted and my computer decided to hiccup. Yeah, Trouble - and dogs in general can be fun to write about for awhile. But with how I approached her, she was becoming a tedious character to write in. Although she did bring something to the table. It was getting boring having to write about toting her along so much.. lol. Side characters are fun to write. It takes away from all the angst the main characters have to suffer through. So I always enjoy writing those into the story. So Keith, Andy, Amber, and Katy will be nice changes to the Clinton, Jenny, and Corey main characters that I plan to focus on. And of course Cj can't give up so easily.. yeah, he has a bruised up nose and a wounded pride.. but come on. With the extension as well, I have to introduce something to make it worth it. Or the story will lose purpose. So I hope y'all like what I have planned. I'm slowly introducing it within the next chapter already. Or at least a little foreshadowing. Thanks for reviewing, I'm glad you'll miss the story, it means I've done a few things right with it.

Happy Birthday Menace!

Bye Joebo.. although you have a concave ass I'll still watch you leave. I've missed you over the time you've spent away. I know people become busy and all that, but I'm sure you'll try to pop in when you can. You did good work here and should be proud of that too. GA wouldn't be where it is today without you, so take that accomplishment with you, it is a nice one.

When you're asleep.. choking hazard and gets in hair or on the bed somewhere.. and I can't stand people that just pop them out for later and leave it sitting on the wrapper... I mean honestly, just toss it and pop in a new one when you want a new one. And yes, if you're at work and have to talk to people at all you shouldn't chew gum. I get distracted when people open their mouths to talk to me and they have gum in their mouths peeping out of their cheek or on the side of their tongue. Shew.. *grimaces* I don't like how a lot of people chew their food, so I can't stand watching most people chew gum.. especially kids.. they can't seem to do either with their mouths closed.. lol.

I think it could be false hope that Cj is going away. I know I've never hinted at it... Not saying that he'll be a big part in the extension, but just know that I've not said either way. I'm glad you like the story and don't mind the extra content.

Aww. People can be so cruel, in fiction and in real life. Sucks that people stoop to all time lows and go out of their way to do it. You bring up some good points and possibly give me ideas.. I can be evil to my characters if I want..

Lol. I hope to not have this story going for too much longer, especially not 50+ chapters. I'm glad you've liked the story so far though. I've not really thought too far ahead within this extension, which might mean it's not going to be so long.

Thanks Cole. I'm glad you've enjoyed the story so far.

Hi Benji! Yeah, I had it written that Corey's Dad always suspected and his Mom was blinded by love. So, it was news to her and news to his Dad as well, but not so much. Although, they still reacted accordingly to character I think. As for Cj, he's not done.. of course he isn't.. how could he be? And no, don't expect an Apology. And, for the Epilogue - No, it is not an Epilogue. I struggled writing an Epilogue and saw that I was just causing a lot of unanswered questions within what I was writing. I should have left it at 30 chapters, but instead I have decided to extend it.

SIS 31 Waking up and smiling, I looked down to see Trouble curled up at the foot of the bed chewing on the covers. Glancing out the small window in my room, I saw that it was still early. Groaning I sat up and slid out of the bed and scooped up Trouble and like every morning, walked her right outside to the small patch of grass to let her do her morning routine of sniffing and peeing. Satisfied that she isn’t going to get me killed with any puddles on the floor, I picked her back up and str

That's usually how it goes, right? The controlled see a glimmer of hope or a little bit of softness, so they stay to see more, not realizing they're fighting ghosts of the person they are with.. it is sad to see someone going through that. I'm glad you liked my poem. Thank you for reviewing.
-
Aww thank you. I wish everyone never be 'tamed,' especially in the name of 'love.'
-
Aww don't be hesitant. It's just something that happens with people. The happy go lucky girl runs into a guy that tells her she's stupid.. etc. I see that happening all to often and I think it's just sad. It's sort of a hidden away poem that someone going through this won't share. Not to the person they're involved with, because usually in those relationships they think they're in love, when they're just scared. I hate seeing anyone feel controlled and confined, I know I hate the feeling. BUT, this is a poem that's not about me today, so no worries.. lol. I know I could have scared a few people that have read my other poems, because they were mostly about the hubby or my past.. in a way it is, but I got out of those situations pretty quickly, so they don't bother me today.
-
Thanks Mann! Yeah, that is definitely the story I had in mind. I see it happen so many times. It's happened to me once or twice. Thank you for liking the poem.
-
Aww, thanks Bill. Yes, I feel it happens all too often, for different reasons and it is sad when it happens. I'm glad you read and liked the poem.
-
Thanks Cole, I struggled writing this poem. I hoped I conveyed the right message, it was a pretty literal one. It doesn't even necessarily have to do with love and relationships, but over all it's sad to think about such a bright soul being controlled in such a way.
