It may be fake, the sentiment is still nice. I believe there are fathers out there that could write a letter of love and acceptance to their gay children. As well as mothers.

Sports are pretty straight forward.. and I'm sure women could read or have followed the history of the sports they "cannot" play.. and gain or have the "credibility" by not being able to play in the mainstream male sports.

That's like those "participation" awards.. lol.. Miss a field goal, 'tis ok, you still get a point. If teams are tied, all they have to do is kick it through the end zone and win. I think the fields should also stay the same. I think teams are getting way more defensive minded, if you widen the field, then you are burdening the Defense. Although, if you want more people to watch.. widen the field, because most people watch it for the offense anyway. I guess that's why the NBA doesn't play defense. Bah.. I dislike pro-sports.

I believe if they know the sport and are enthusiastic then they should cover the sports they love, male or female. We definitely don't mind men when they are commentating women's games. I believe the staff on ESPN do it really well, some of my favorite commentators are women.

Have you watched the Georgia Swim/Diving team one? At least they got inventive and did it in an odd place. Otherwise, most of them look idiotic and I don't see the point... lol.

I say they are, but he's not really updated after the GA Stories switch over. Hosted Authors that don't update after that don't get the readership they would if they wrote. Now newer authors are getting a lot of attention, because their stories are in the process of being posted and not just transported from one to the next. GA Stories also makes it easier to comment on stories than discussion forums, or I think it is easier to leave a comment there than to go into the Author's forum and do it.

They took away Fast Pitch Softball as well. I also do not understand why Wrestling is no longer making the cut. Why does the IOC drop sports? Time constraints? Popularity? Country dominance? I have no idea. I don't think it should be Modernized. I believe the Olympics should instead maintain these less participated in or televised sports like Wrestling, Rowing, Diving/swimming, Fencing.. etc that really shows off the expertise of these athletes.

SIS 18 I took a quick shower, knowing Dad could hear the water running. After drying off as best I could in the small steam filled bathroom, I unwrapped my arm and threw the plastic in the small garbage can under the sink. I brushed my teeth and smoothed out my hair. Coming out should never be about acceptance or even honesty. Maybe I'm missing the point, but I have never seen how it is anyone's business. I'm not saying, "don't be yourself," or "stay in the closet," I just can't think of a reason why people come out. It is like you are pointing out a difference in yourself that isn't really a difference because you've been the same your entire life. You aren't a liar just because you withhold what you naturally are attracted to. So treating people as misleading, false, dishonest, or cowardice doesn't make any sense either. The last thing I would want is for people to blow such a thing out of proportion because that is the only thing that hurts.

Lol. True. Fashion has always been weird... and I hate that baggy jeans/underwear look.. bleh. If you have to hold your pants up just to walk down the street, there's a problem. And as I woman, I have never understood thongs, I hate those things.

I don't believe it took her awhile, I remember two or three years ago that she thanked her loving partner of so and so years Cydney and her children. Not many people took real notice, but she didn't hide it then, during that award acceptance either. She's one of the most dignified people in Hollywood, I sort of wished people would stay out of their lives... people seemingly get angry when someone doesn't "come out of their glass closet," and when they do they fault them for waiting so long as if they are "ashamed" of it. It happened to Anderson Cooper, Ricky Martin, and now her. We'd all frown upon people digging into the lives of these 'normal' people, when all everyone ever wanted was privacy.

The Blue mitten thing looks itchy as hell.. and he can't even scratch because of the mittens... looks like a good outfit for someone with chicken pox.. I wonder if it comes in pink?
